Hey! So I've seen alot of these chocolate mono threads and I've decided I want to try it out for myself.

Today I went to the shop and I bought:

- Cadbury's milk chocolate caramel bar. (120g)

- Cadbury's milk chocolate bar. (120g)

- Cadbury's milk chocolate twirl bites. (145g)

Total : 385g

This only costed £3 so I'm suprised how people manage to spend loads of money on this diet.

I'm going to start the diet tomorrow and I'm using this thread to follow my progress so it's easier to keep on track, considering my parents look through my notebooks ect but do not realise I use this site.

Starting weight: 126.8lbs

Height: 5"6

BMI: 20.5

It can't have caramel or it won't work so watch out for that! Must be strictly chocolate.

after reading over 250 pages of the mono thread i understand that you'll be fine having caramel in there since any creamy/liquid filling (besides nut/pb which us tricky) works, so dont worry. plain chocolate is supposed to be better though.

So, today I weighed myself and I had lost, so my weight was down to 126.4lbs. So we will say that is my starting weight.

Day 1

So I had 1 full bar of caramel chocolate at about 11.30am, now it's 2.21pm and i've eaten about half of the twirl bites.

I estimate so far I've eaten around 200g of chocolate and I'm very bored with the taste.

I ALWAYS stop eating around 5o'clock so I still have plenty of time to finish all of the chocolate.

Things noticed;

- a dizzy feeling (which may be due to my change of meds which I also started today)
- very dehydrated, even when I had drank aload of water, still dehydrated.
- TMI* i had noticed for me, chocolate works as a laxative. I was confused by this so I decided to research it and it's true that plain chocolate has a substance in it causing it to act as a laxative.

(then again I've also heard of people being constipated while on the chocolate mono diet), but maybe the weight loss might have a part to do with the laxative effect.

I will update again later:)

End of day 1

I couldn't manage the last chocolate bar, but I had the whole twirls packet and the caramel bar.

I finished eating around 3/4pm and it's now 10pm. So it's been about 6/7 hours since I ate the chocolate.

I was so worried I wouldn't have lost, I couldn't bare to wait until the morning so I went ahead and weighed myself anyway.

I'm 125lbs!!

I'd lost 1.4lbs :) I'm so happy.

I won't be carrying on with this diet cause I found it almost impossible to eat so much chocolate but I'm thinking of starting an egg diet. :)

SUCCESS

I did the chocolate mono for three days, on the first day I completely agree with it being a laxative! The second day morning - laxative again. For some reason on the third day this stopped completely even though I ate loads of it. Then about a week later I did it for one day and it didn't work as a laxative then either, strange!
