So... A little bit of a sad rant and I'm hoping someone can relate to this...

I make the same mistakes over and over with food. I buy foods I KNOW I will end up bingeing on because I am convinced that "This Time Will Be Different" and "This Time I Will Be Able To Control It."

Does anyone else do this?

Has anyone been able to overcome this?

I'm so frustrated with myself and I could use some support!

Just ate an entire bag over Hershey's "Hugs" that I got from Valentine's clearance-

(1575 cals)

Shit, I'm sorry love :/ That's always awful.

The only thing I can recommend is not buying those foods for a bit. And when you do, portion them out and spread them out so you're not faced with the entire bag at once. That's the only thing that I can recommend.

I know- I even did that but then just ate portion after portion.

You're right about not buying those foods though. I knew this would happen when I put that into my shopping basket and I did it anyway.

Maybe having other people tell me not to buy those foods will help...

-hugs-

Just be kind to yourself, love.

I know it's hard.

But sometimes cutting out certain foods feels oddly good.

I used to have a massive cookie dough problem. Borderline addiction.

Cut it out for a really long time and when I have it now, I don't feel the need to binge on it?

I dunno.

I think it gets a bit easier when you buy your own things because you can tell yourself that you'll buy it at some point.

Just not today.
