Hi guys :)

so I've just discovered monos on this board... Ive read about some people monoing on healthy food (mostly fruits) and others on unhealthy food (chocolate). but I was wondering if anyone has ever tried monoing on meat? as in ham or salami ? :)

if so, how were the results and the side effects?!

It would probably work quite well considering you wouldn't be eating any carbs. I would make sure to take a multivitamin though because you'll be really low in a lot of vitamins from having no fruits or vegetables. Also, it would be extremely unsafe to do this longer than a week. One guy died from doing the Dukan Diet for longer than 10 days. Dukan is a diet consisting of an attack phase where you ONLY eat protein, then after you lose a significant amount of weight you switch to just protein and veggies. Apparently he just stayed on strictly protein...

I tried the Dukan diet once and got horribly constipated.  Salami has a lot of fat, if you're doing this I'd go for lean meats.
