Finally onto the egg mono which I've been excited for quite a long time! :)

Starting weight 105.6lbs,
(I'm 5'5 if anyone needed to know)

So far I've eaten two egg whites
I'm planning to mostly eat egg whites throughout the 2-3 days I'm doing this mono btw but that's just because I prefer it :)
SW - 130 ( NEVER AGAIN)

LW - 99lbs
GW1 - 100lbs -
GW2 - 95lbs
GW2- 90lbs -
UGW - 85lbs (bmi 14.6)

Sounds like a good plan. I also have wondered how and what I would eat once starting an egg mono. I also usually eat only whites, but with flavoring added. On the mono I couldn't add flavor and I think at least some yokes would be good for fullness as well as nutrition. Doing the chocolate one today made me feel so sick I couldn't believe it.

Yokes are kind of a fear food of mine too so I know that adding them would make doing the mono really tough. I considered maybe 3 parts egg white and 1 whole egg, but I don't know yet. I'd love to try it, especially if it helped me get over my fear of egg yokes.

Keep us posted on how it goes! I'm quite intrigued.

during my nutella mono i felt so sick i literally felt so sick, up until i felt faint but i just slept most of it off 

 

yolks are a fear food of mine too, the amount of calories scares meeven if they are 'good' calories haha

i will eat them during my mono though, most of the point of mono diets are that you consume more calories then normal (correct me if im wrong)

Started the egg mono diet yesterday!

I had 8 egg whites and only added two yolks throughout the day, I only had water and sparkling water to get a bit of a different taste xD
I stopped eating after 8 o'clock

I woke up today 104.8lbs

-0.8lbs :D

Day two here I come

If anyone wants to suggest me mono diets they would like me to do I'm all up for it :)

During the Nutella I felt very nauseous and like I was going to faint but it normally wore off around 12-1, I was going to school during it too and I couldn't really concentrate that much, but I feel okay on the egg i am getting sick and tired of eggs though, I am having headaches but I'm used To them now so it doesn't bother me :)

I'm worried about both of those things as well. I only three days where I can even hope to do a mono and all three of them are school days. I got so sick when I did the chocolate mono I missed school, work and therapy which was so not good. I haven't done another since. I'm hoping that a more nutritious one like eggs would help me at least function. It's good to know you're having a better time on eggs, even though you're getting sick of them.

 

The part about getting sick of eggs sucks though, even if it's understandable. I would so be getting sick of eggs too and I'm already trying to figure out ways to cook them for a slight chance of variety, but I don't know that it will work. Sometime I think getting sick of the food is a reason why the mono works, because I read once that if you eat something you're seriously craving (even if it's chocolate or candy, or whatever,) until you're utterly sick of it then you won't binge on other foods trying to avoid eating the candy or whatever that you really want. I don't know if it's true but it's one of those things that ends up sticking in my head with all of the rest of possible weight loss theories and methods. I think that's just our nature, of the EDs, at least.

I think I will try it Monday when I can eat alone and fix my own meals without having my Dad or boyfriend become . I do have class (including a test), but it sounds like as long as I also include yokes for nutrition. It sounds like the eggs will help me concentrate a little better- or at the very least I won't be lying in bed feeling sick as a dog and sleeping almost all day, not feeling well or strong enough to even get any homework done.

EGG MONO DAY TWO

Yesterday I ate 11 egg whites and two yolks, the main reason I ate more was because I was a bit peckish, my friends stayed round and they bought every food I would binge on...good news I didn't give in...Yay for me! Lol anyways I drank over 2l of sparkling/normal water.
I also took my dog for like 2 hour walk with breaks where i was just standing for a bit ect.

Anyway I woke up today and weighed 104.2lbs! :)

-0.6lbs :D

Even though it was as much as yesterday I'm still not gaining ^.^

Last day today and I plan to eat less eggs then I did yesterday haha

Trust me you do feel better on eggs, that's how I practically felt on my Nutella and even though I did lose and knowing me ill do it again to get rid of cravings in the future, I've lost the most on eggs :)

Hey guys, sorry if it's tmi but I've started fucking shark week! Seriously? Like I was so close and gained 3lbs already, hopefully I don't eat the whole world...

Being the insomniac I am I woke up at 1:30am starving, and so my egg mono begins! I'm going to try and do two days, possibly three days if I can get my boyfriend to cook eggs for me. 

 

My start weight is 111 (kind of a weird looking number isn't it)?

 

Anyways, I do plan on drinking a lot. I usually do. So much, in fact, that last week my doctor told me to cut down on the amount I drink because my sodium is too low. But I'm going to anyways, and just put more salt on what I eat, which has worked for me in the past.

 

Here's hoping I have at least two days of successful egg mono! :)

How many eggs did you guys eat and how often?
If you close your mouth to food, you can know a sweeter taste.

Right now I've had 12 whites (it's no wonder I'm almost out of eggs). I know I really need to incorporate some yokes which I plan on doing with a hardboiled egg for a snack at school and scrambled eggs for dinner. Yokes are just such a fear food of mine I'm having a difficult time incorporating them.

I'm so glad it's almost bedtime. I didn't get the queasiness like I did from the chocolate, so you were right there. I wasn't very successful at yokes, but I'm going to try and have some at dinner. Hardboiled yokes seemed scary to me, I don't know. Like I can eat yokes in scrambled eggs but I can't from hardboiled. Makes no sense.

 

No yokes has pretty much ran me out of eggs though. I have enough for dinner and that's it and there's no way I'm attempting a drive to the store at rush hour. I'm far too exhausted. My plan is to either wake up early enough before class to run to the grocery store for eggs, or switch to yogurt or apples for a day. Hopefully I wake up early. That's what I'd prefer. I need more egg yoke practice. I really want to break that food fear.

 

But all in all today has been a success. :)

Decided to weigh myself before I went to bed, which I never do, but I was curious how much weight I'd eaten and drank today. 4lbs worth of egg and liquid in my system. I'm never really sure how it all works but I'll see what the scale says in the morning, and if it says more than 111 I'm not going to panic because I know there will still be egg weight in me.
