So...I went out and got Meal Replacement Shakes. Anyone have experiences with them and losing weight?
They are 190 calories each. So I was thinking of replacing breakfast and lunch with them. (1 bottle for each meal. Or sip one bottle throughout the day while in school. Depends on how well they suppress my appetite. I haven't tried it yet so.) and then have dinner like usual. My only worry is I'll hend up binging at dinner since I didn't eat at all throughout the day. Perhaps a apple and jug water between lunch and dinner.
How well did they suppress your appetite?

What brand did you get? It would be interesting to see the nutritional info. Carb content, fat content? Electrolytes?

IMO not terribly worth it. Id prefer 200 calories of fruit or something straight up :)

I know. TBH I feel like 200 of fruit and such would be better. But same time these are filling. I drink two (one for breakfast and one for lunch). And they keep me good all day through school. It's two drinks and I hend up being over 300 with just them. :/. When I could eat like 4 apples and be at 300. Lol. I already paid the 12 bucks for 12 of them so might as well continue them and decide to continue or not after

Ofc, if you've already bought 'em it's definitely worth just drinking them anyway!

I'm using actidiet shakes 1 to 2 a day and nothing ewe just water and some Pepsi max. I've lost 10lbs in 2 weeks but my clothes aren't any looser yet. I'm guessing I need to lose a few more pounds before I can really see the difference xx

I'd be interested in hearing if you had any progress from this. I've been considering a short-term liquid diet consisting of something like Carnation Instant Breakfast, V8 and water. Sadly, I'd probably be getting more nutrients than I am now lol.

I Love these shakes. I drink on average 3 of them a day. I also eat very low cal "mini" meals of salads, steamed veggies, and lots of water. The shakes fill me up, and help me with sweet cravings ( I love the deluxe dark chocolate best). 100 cals, 15g of protein, 5g of carbs, and 21 vitamins and minerals. They are a staple for me. Even with meals and snacks, I am usually under 1000 cals a day.

I recently bought the Optislim Platinum Rapid shake mix because two boxes were on special at a local chemist. I've tried tonnes of different protein powders and meal replacements over the past couple years and usually there is a really funky taste with those, but I've got the chocolate in these ones and they're really good. So far, they've been pretty filling but I still tend to want proper food at nighttime, but I'm hoping after a few days, I'll be used to it. 😊

Im hoping for this to give me a bit of a kick start to get my butt into shape again. Usually once I see some progress then that keeps me motivated enough to keep going - I just find it difficult to start in the first place!

I'm starting meal replacements. They have all the vitamins and minerals, all macros balanced and they suppress my appetite surprisingly well and I can add something to then if I feel like, such as protein or fibre. I'm using them as a kick start and buy myself time to figured out a proper meal plan since I'm terribly lazy these days.

I just ordered Women's Best package that includes "fill me up" and "fat burner" tablets in addition to 200cal meal replacement shakes that you can always add to or blend... which I plan on doing,

One of the main reasons I bought the meal replacement shakes is because I don't like to cook and that leads to me snacking for a meal...which is way more calories!
