so my family is leaving for the weekend so it's just going to be me, myself, and the money they left me for food. literally the perfect b/p scenario. I have been avoiding eating for a few days due to health issues that can be affected by lax use so in turn, I haven't been purging either. im not really asking which is the better option, obviously it's a better idea to not b/p, I guess what I'm asking is are there any terrible effects of b/ping a lot right out of a streak of being purge free (about a week)? Idrk about headaches or stomach aches but like can it land me in the hospital?

replenish electrolytes as best you can if you decide to b/p. try to eat at least something outside of b/p's. i don't know if there's a worse risk after being purge free for a while. just try to be safe about it if you do b/p. also baking soda mouthwash to help save your teeth from stomach acid!! i mean, as you know, b/p is bad for the heart. so realistically, we could all end up in the hospital after b/p, it's just dumb luck and probably a bit of foresight and precautionary measures that keep most of us out of the emergency room.

Don't do it. You've done so well to avoid it, why stop? Purging will damage your body and is addictive. Please stay safe and focus on exercise and healthy meals and you'll feel a lot better

If you can make it through the weekend without b/ping do it babe! You'll be proud of yourself and you know it isn't really worth that instarush.

I'll be b/p free (duh) so we can do it together if you like :D

As long as you promise the bulimia fam to take care post-purge, go for it.

These chances don't happen too often, right?

that's what I'm scared of, I have a shit heart. I have these ice pop things my doctor recommended that have electrolytes in them so I've been eating those and if I do end up b/ping I'll buy some more for after.

also there are little low-cal/zero-cal drink flavour things you can add to water that help replenish electrolytes (like mio). they're pretty tasty too!

And why do you think your doc recommended them in the first place? I don't think that B/Ping is the best option for you.

There will always be more 'good scenarios' for b/ping. Trust me. You have a lifetime of b/p opportunity ahead of you, so try not to have that thought attract you. I have told myself that so many times: "but this free food! I can't pass this up. My mom is working tonight. I have to take advantage." Just think about how you will feel if you get through the weekend still b/p free. One week is something to be really proud of! Either way take care and be easy on yourself. These are hard choices we all face.

I know it's really hard, but the thing with b/ping is that you can never know. Any b/p is potentially dangerous. Especially with your history of cardiac issues :(

Plus, the binge feels are so crap.

Please take care.

Maybe use some of the money to treat yourself to a movie or dvd, some new clothes or make up. Could be a nice distraction rather than spending it on food your possibly guna flush?

Sounds like your health needs looking after, do your best :)

No no no don't do it if you've managed to stop! You know once you do it again it's a damn trainwreck. We'll be here to support you when you get those urges and you just sit back relax and have yourself some electrolytes so your body can take a break. You've had a rough week and I don't want you ending up in the hospital or having something happen when you're home all alone! Stay safe plz❤️
