I know this is not supposed to be in this forum but i dont think ill get any replies if i post it in the right one.

 

Okay so, will a lettuce mono work? If i only do it for a day or two, what will be my results?

 

Again, sorry Admins, but i really need to know the answer.


HW is 172 LBS :angry:

At only 5 calories a cup, it will definitely work if your goal is weight loss.

Well, for one thing, you're likely to have some serious diarrhea. 

 

A lettuce mono will work like any other mono - as long as you maintain a caloric deficit, you will lose. If you somehow manage to eat over your TDEE with lettuce (unlikely), then you will gain. 

 

That's about it.

 

There is nothing special about monos tbh. If they help you stay on track - then go for it.

There's really no way it can't work? Lettuce is 5cals a cup, depending on how much you eat your body might treat it like a fast

I don't know what your results will be, maybe a pound of true fat and some water

I mean, you might as well fast at that point. You will have burned off the calories you ate before you even wake up in the morning...

 

An all-inclusive veggie mono would be better, tbh. Get some nutrients.
