2 jumping jacks=1 calorie burned

1000 jumping jacks=500 calories burned

1 pound fat=3500 calories=7000 jumping jacks

Henceforth 1000 jumping jacks a day for 7 days will cause a one pound loss!

I'm going to try and do this and hopefully will have lost a pound in a week... Apparently it works :)

I might do 10 sets of 100 jumping jacks in a day.

My heart is too weak from my first bout with Ana/ Ana related health issues that I can't do cardio anymore. Including jumping jacks :/
I can't even stand up too fast or I just hit the floor :P

Nope.  Sorry about your calculations.  Take a stopwatch while you're doing jumping jacks, figure out how long you've been doing them and plug it in to any decent exercise calorie counter (or a 8:30-9:30 min mile if you translate it to running).

Be careful about your knees.

For years and years and years I did 2000 - 2500 jumping jacks a day - which took a fair chunk of time to do - and my knees are awful now.  It was more of an anxiety relief than exercise, plus then I got caught in an ocd spiral with it.  So, be careful about your knees.

I've done this.

It killed my knees, calves, and legs. A whole new level of sore! Not the good I've-been-working-out sore either. It's pretty rough.

The supposed calorie burn is so alluring though.
