My boyfriend told me i didnt have the body he found attractive and started naming celebrities hed prefer me to look like. It hit me hard because when i first got with him i was underweight and now i'm classed as over weight.

Eurgh, I feel you. I wasn't underweight when me and my boyfriend got together, but I was super fit and healthy and lean. Thanks to BED I'm now quite a bit bigger and he told me a few weeks ago that's he's not attracted to me anymore because of that. Thankfully he didn't name celebrities, but I totally get your pain.

I had a friend who once told me "you're not fat..and you're not skinny. You're the perfect size." He then proceeded to ask my best friend if he agreed with him. I felt so awkward, although I think he was just trying to be nice

I'm at 34kg / bmi 14 what has been my ugw for a long time.
My doc: "My son is 32kg and he is 8 years old!"

Realized that his eight year old son is lighter than me.
Realized that 32 looks better than 34.
Realized that 32 is the half of my start weight.
ugw changed successfully.

Kinda backwards, but my bestie's boyfriend told me that I should just stop having an eating disorder and basically bashed my issues when I send a progress pic of me wearing my old shorts that were 6 sizes to big to our group chat. :/ he was totally unsupportive and made me feel like shit for opening up about it. I was so proud of my progress, and then he acted like I was a terrible person and I didn't for it or deserve recognition for losing 40ish lbs. Meanwhile, I may restrict a lot and I'm trying to cut down on my b/p but I worked out a lot to compensate for high calorie days instead of b/p but because I still slip sometimes my progress isn't worthy to him. -.-

Sorry for the rant, <3

Whenever someone says something like "you look healthier now" or "you're glowing, you look better" it always makes me feel like shit because I know it means I've put on weight. I know they're just trying to be nice, but it sucks to hear.

I once asked if I could get my belly button pierced and my mom turned around and said "aren't those for girls with flat tummies?"

my boyfriend & his roommate (why is it always the men who feel the need to comment out of the blue on your body as if that's all you are, no mind no feelings just a physical object) said, in a salty tone, "you're starting to look sick." I guess the most screwed up part was that I thought I was already looking sick so i was like damn, i guess i'm not there yet...

well my mom tells me i'm fat literally since the age of 11, but the thing is that she was morbidly obese until she had bariatric surgery and lost all the weight she put on during the years.

She always promised to buy me things or let me do certain stuff if i lost a certain amount of weight and every time i remember that it makes me so mad...

Other than the fact that she probs has an eating disorder of her own.

Two friends were telling me how they wish they looked like me with curves

One of those friends also said at another time she wish she looked like me and this other girl with "curves" and compared me to another girl who was very different body type than me. Made me feel like I must look like a cow.

"Your thighs are three times bigger than mine"

"I thought you would be smaller by now"

"From that angle it looks like you have a double chin"

"I thought you started working out"

"Will you be anywhere close to 120 lbs when we meet?"

All of the above was said to me today. What a great day it was...

My ex and I went swimming, and he was cold (I wasn't) and he said "Yeah but you've got fat to keep you warm"

On the same day: "Oh look, all the fat people are over there" he was referring to me and his mother.

Thanks mate
