I'm 5'0", 105 lbs. now (up from 95) and I was forced into recovery by my parents because I forgot to ask for new pads for the last four months.  I refused to eat anything starting this last week, so my parents have given up.  But I'd like to know how to get my period back without gaining weight and on less than 1000 calories a day.

I'm taking it all one day at a time. Giving it my best. And as long as I see improvement, I'll be happy. :D

Calcium vitamins (with vitamin D so the calcium is absorbed right)

Bioflavonoids can help to balance the hormone levels and regulate the menstrual cycle. Take as part of a good vitamin C with bioflavonoids supplement.

Deficiencies of zinc and vitamin B6 can result in the absence of periods.

That's not something you have to do for them.

But, if you want to appear healthy to them you're gonna have to eat, there isn't really a way around it.

I think it actually has to do with percentage of body fat, not just hormones. Women need a certain minimum percent body fat to safely see a pregnancy through. After a certain point your body just goes, "Uh-oh, too low... Babies are a really bad idea right now due to scarcity of resources..." and adjusts accordingly.
