im just curious, any vegans out there successfully entered ketosis?

what do/did you eat?

ketosis has always fascinated me but i dont know if i could do it personally, avoiding carbs is tough to do when you're a vegan or raw vegan.

im almost 100% raw, as i do eat tofu once in a while

yeah I managed to:) My diet was very strict vegan back then, a typical day would consist of:

butterbeans with paprika

apple

orange

celery/spicy tomato soup

my diet was very low carb, even the butterbeans were pretty low in carbs and high in fibre. I'd also have the occasional tofu day where I'd just eat 300cals of marinated tofu

I've gone into ketosis living on nuts.

i did it once eating exclusively almonds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, coconut butter, and shakes made w/ low-carb vegan protein powder (sunwarrior warrior blend chocolate has only 3g total carbs per scoop)

i was kinda lost for a second because i posted this in december lol. but thank you guys anyhow!

ive tried a coconut oil mono to try putting me into ketosis which was absolutely disgusting and i did it for 4 maybe 5 days and lost 6lbs, super gross though, i cringe everytime i see it, smell coconut, or brush my teeth with it. i dont reccomend it unless you have a strong stomach for eating pure solid saturated fat. yuck. it does work though. but still, really gross.

and ive tried the nut mono and it works, i noticed my skin gets really oily (could be from something else, but i noticed it especially when i did this) and that i end up snacking all day (on nuts, but still) and thats not a behavior i like. haha

Same here. I just added lettuce and other green leafes to "alkaline it up" and fresh lemon juice with sweetener because of the fruity taste.
