THE ETERNAL DIET IS COMPLETE!
Yesterday was okay. I started the day with a Special K cereal bar and a Senseo cafe latte speculoos. Lunch was an apple and a handful of almonds mixed into some Activia yogurt with a coffee cup of broth. Dinner was some store-bought lasagna and two small slices of bread. Snacks included a big bowl of strawberries, a chocolate sandwich cookie, a chocolate digestive biscuit, 4 raspberry-filled chocolate mini Easter eggs, another coffee and a Special K cereal bar - all brought on by the fact that my boss came up to tell us she's retiring at the end of the year, and leaving our incompetent sales manager in charge, with random drop-ins by the president of the company that took us over. My boss can be a real harridan but damn, I'm not sure I feel safe with the direction things are going in.
I got on the bike and burned 982 calories to make up for the mini binge.
All in all, I did a lot better than I expected, once I settled into the swing of things. Still don't think I'll ever be that good at restriction. Something about it just makes me want to binge. And I just can't resist the opportunity to stuff my face. Although I didn't reach my goal weight of 60 kg (which was a little unrealistic, given the levels I ate at some days), a loss of 4.7 kg/10.4 lbs isn't that shabby, for me anyways. What I'm most proud of is the 10 cm/4 in loss in both my waist and hips. Plus the 6.5 cm/2.5 in loss in my baby belly flab.
I'm thinking of either picking up the HSGD as of next Monday or developing something on my own after I analyze the results of the Eternal Diet. I like having a plan to work by; it seems to keep me on track more than when I'm just winging it.
