I've been getting very, very discouraged. I haven't been losing ANYTHING at all over the past 28 days. I'm just yo-yoing back and forth between 65.something and 64.something kilos. It doesn't seem to matter how little or how much I eat, how little or how much I exercise. NOTHING CHANGES. It's extremely frustrating and the main reason for my binges in this last period. I seem to have it back under control now. I switched around a few goals and took away here and there on the approximate days (total net 4,500 cals for the entire week). I'm also discouraged by things I've been reading the last week or so.

I used this waist to hip ratio calculator that somebody had posted in a topic on here. Here's what I got:

"You have a waist to hip ratio of 0.85. The information you entered: Sex = Female, waist = 33.3 inches and hip = 39 inches.

Your shape puts you at increased risk of coronary heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Frequently referred to as apple shape, you tend to keep fat at your midsection and less on your hips. Your body converts this upper body fat to energy whenever your body runs short. This raises cholesterol and blood pressure."

Because I need yet another website telling me, "Why yes, you are a fat fuck!" The hubs thinks it's bullshit. He says I exercise way too much to be at risk for any of that stuff. I HATE being an apple shape.

The hubs has been telling me a lot lately how much weight I've lost. I wanted to laugh in his face because I haven't lost anything in like 3-4 months. He took this pic of an article in one of the local papers for me about how to lose weight. The first tip is to cut out 200-250 calories and avoid all starches (so no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes). I was like, dude, if I drop any more calories from my diet, I'll be in the negatives. The other was to avoid sweet drinks. Already do. Another said to exercise more. Already do. Another said avoid alcohol. I only drink about once a week, if that. So it looks like now I've got to avoid all bread, pasta and rice. My fat life sucks.

On a happier note though, I jogged for nearly 30 minutes straight last night! I timed it by how many songs I jogged to rather than an actual timer, so it's an approximate time. It's the first time I've ever jogged non-stop for that long - I felt like I could have kept going, but it was getting too dark and I didn't have any of my safety gear on. I was on such a high when I got home last night too, so I jumped on the stationary bike and burned off some more calories!

It's back to work drudgery today, which means a fight to keep myself from grazing on all these treats stuck in front of my fat face. Especially out of boredom because there is NOTHING to do right now at work besides play on here and surf the net. It's gone on for far too long and I'm starting to worry. If we don't start seeing higher numbers soon, the company that bought us out is going to start making changes and I fear they won't be pleasant.

Awww, thank you! Things have started changing a little bit, but I may still give a mono a try, too. I'm starting another challenge soon, too, which will hopefully spike my metabolism. There's going to be some fasting, though, which is hard for me to do with the fam around, but we'll see.

And congrats on the loss, that's awesome!
