Egg fast, success!
I can hardly believe it's true but I made it through day 1 on egg fast. It wasn't easy but I made it. Whenever I felt like binge cravings coming, I ate eggs and mayo. I ate tons of eggs and mayo but I don't care. I didn't eat 3000-4000 calories worth of them (which I can easily down in one day of binging) and I didn't binge or purge all day. Besides, I lost over 2 lbs of water weight, which definitely is a huge plus for me.
Today I'm doing day 2 on egg fast. These first days I'm allowing myself however much I need eggs, mayo and cheese. The goal is to not b/p at this point, nothing else. So far, so good. Besides, I never thought I would be saying this but I love eggs, cheddar and mayo together. That greasy, fatty goodness is better than anything else and right now I could easily imagine myself eating nothing else but that the rest of my life. I don't understand it at all, it makes no sense but if it works, then I have no complaints.
The worst binge desires should start quieting down soon and then I can start restricting calories, slowly bringing the number down. My goal is to actually start water fasting and fast at least the next week.
For the first time in a loooong while, I feel hopeful.
