I spent years telling myself that I was better than this but now I'm realizing that I'm not and I don't think I can handle myself anymore.

LOL @my pathetic late night snack

 

I've had a bad weekend (see: overeating) with my boyfriend. I had a lovely time but I bloated and gained about 1.5 lbs on the scale. It completely tanked my self esteem. Not to mention I've been stressed due to finals and am having a horrible, horrible, horrible time stopping myself from overeating. So this is my weak attempt to stop myself from binging tonight x( Brought my daily total up to 940 and its causing me even more anxiety.

Went to take a pic of my oatmeal and the mug was too hot for my hand and I backed off while taking the picture omg, and yeah that's lax tea in the back.

Some random dark chocolate-fruit-ancient grains bits that I've been eyeing on top of my microwave for days.

This is my post-purge meal, and I know I tried not to purge today, but I actually had a huge revelation about my bulimia and how purging is finally causing some really fucked up stuff with my body. Kind of glad I had a health scare because that is definitely pushing me to think about my future.

Hey, I'm sure the weight is bloating, I'm sorry you're stressing about it! Berries are great and can help with bloating but the sodium in pickles can make it worse. Stay hydrated (but don't drink more water than is safe) and try not to stress.

Hey, I'm sure the weight is bloating, I'm sorry you're stressing about it! Berries are great and can help with bloating but the sodium in pickles can make it worse. Stay hydrated (but don't drink more water than is safe) and try not to stress.

 

Ugh, I know, I'm so bad about pickles though. I usually have one a day, but I usually drink a lot of water so I don't notice bloat from those. I had some pretty bad foods this weekend so I'm 99% sure it's just food weight, but it's making me feel like crap.

I love pickles and sauerkraut & pretty much any pickely thing. Kimchi is awesome too, but then I have to deal with the salt. I'm jealous though, fresh berries are nearly impossible to get right now...

I have 100 pages to catch up on in the Part 2 thread, so I'm gonna post here whilst I do that. I just got back from the Forcefeeding Hell Week that was meeting my uncle again. I apparently gained 3kg in a week according to the scale ahahaha kmn. But here's some pictures of safe foods I had over 3 days!!

Feeling much safer after the week of death! Also I usually eat any dinner meal at 3pm, but tonight I'm eating at 10pm. Wish me luck and hopefully my dumb brain doesn't make me too anxious to eat... ;____; )

i don't get what the problem could be with a part 3? i remember when the part 1 was originally created (another account) and seeing a part 2 wasn't a problem....

Once it's locked we'll start using a new thread :) It's just that so many of us are kind of attached to it I guess?? But yeah once it's locked then everyone can move over rather than just a few people

I agree, I'm not really seeing why making a new thread or having to make new threads is such a big deal. like ppl in the other thread talking about how "part 3" will have to be the last one... like wtf, why? I don't see why we can't have this thread just because the forum isn't equip to deal with 2000+ page threads? obviously it's a popular idea and we're all obsessed w/ food so this concept will keep happening even if we make it be 5000 different individual threads instead of condensed into one  :rolleyes:

I think a lot of people are getting annoyed with the slow loading and all of the double posts. I personally can careless what thread we use, just as long as we all continue to use it!

I've only been posting in the p3 in addition to posting in this one because then I get to see all of the food in that one as well lol *obsessed*

would you mind sharing your bread recipe? i'd like to start baking bread at some point :)

3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp granulated white sugar
1 0.25 oz. package instant yeast (I used Fleischmann's Rapid Rise Instant Yeast)
6 tbsp vegan butter (I used Earth Balance Original Spread. You can use regular butter/shortening if not vegan.)
1 cup unsweetened cashew milk (or regular milk if not vegan.)

Directions: Combine flour, salt and sugar. Cut vegan butter into flour with two butter knives until the flour mixture is fine and crumbly. Stir in yeast to flour mixture. Microwave cashew milk for about 45 seconds until between 120 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. If the milk is too hot, it will kill the yeast and your bread won't rise. If the milk is not warm enough, the yeast won't activate and your bread won't rise. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature if you can. Mix in warm cashew milk to flour mixture with a wooden spoon until a soft dough forms. Knead for 10-12 minutes or until dough is elastic, smooth and springs back quickly when you poke it. Shape dough into a ball and place in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 60 minutes in a very warm area. If your house is cold, I recommend turning up the heat to get a good rise.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Gently shape dough into a loaf or rectangle and place in a well greased loaf pan. Let rise for another 20 minutes covered in a very warm area. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bread is golden brown and the inside is cooked through. It takes exactly 30 minutes in my oven, but it may take a few minutes less or more in yours if your oven runs hot/cool.

Allow the bread to cool for at least ten minutes in the pan before removing and serving. I typically get 15 slices of bread from a loaf.

To keep the bread fresh longer and from drying out, wrap leftovers in plastic wrap. Any leftovers remaining after 48 hours should be refrigerated to avoid mold growth.

Siiiiigh some people are so impatient I said I would lock this thread and start a new one! It won't be called "part 3" just the final " post pictures of your meals"would you guys post in there or should I get this locked so you can post in the "part 3" thread

Why make it a "final" one or say we can't keep creating these threads when they get overloaded? Obviously someone started something that's popular and people are obsessed with posting on it and lurking on it.

Really proud of myself for breaking a 3 day binge cycle and having a v low cal day to reset myself. It was supposed to be a fast but because I exercised a lot I knew there was no way I'd make it on empty. Negative 153 cals is a lot better than +1500 I guess :)

I think we should try to stay in 1 topic b/c 10 topics of the same subject are confusing but it seems like there's a point when a topic is full and I remember that someone said when we reach 2000 pages we will open a part 3... but when I checked in yesterday it was on page 2023 I think and I didn't find a new topic... and for my part I haven't wireless at home so I have very limited internet and waiting till this old topic is loading takes forever for me I basically lost my mood posting there b/c of all the loading issues and seeing that there was so many double posts it seems like other people had similar problems.
