I have the zero noodles and slim pasta/rice. I don't really have a problem with them. If you haven't eaten anything for a while it could just be that your stomach wasn't used to the volume of food :-S or it could be what you had with them as aposed to the noodles themselves.

apparently your stomach can't digest them. I ate them one night then woke up sick the next morning. ate something hoping it would make me feel better. now still felt sick and now guilty for eating. so decided to purge. FIRST thing up when purging was the shirataki noodles still looking completely Undigested (I had ate them 15-18 hours before). I can't bring myself to eat them anymore.

I have purged about 36 hours after eating them and they came up like they look in the packaging, it's really bad.

I've eaten them a few times and never had this :S (slim pasta and miracle noodles) no bloating or stomach upset or anything. It might be your stomach is sensitive to one of the ingredients...?
Hope you're feeling ok!

I'm thinking about buying slim rice...what would you say on the taste and texture of this? I'm going low carb so I need an alternative! Thanks in advance :)

The texture isn't quite the same as rice but I didn't find it a problem. Make sure it is really well rinsed then I just nuked it in the microwave to cook it. I had a whole pack mixed with 2/3 spoons of chili and it was soooo filling and I could only taste chili. As I said though it doesn't have the same texture as rice but I find it perfectly edible. Just make sure you mix it well with flavours so it can take them on.

I feel like it's sat in my stomach whole I really do. It's times like this I wish I wasn't phobic of vomiting, my stomach literally looks like I'm pregnant and I feel nauseous.

I'm a little scared to try them now lol but im going to just go with it. It will bulk up my meals and is low cal and low carb. Also, I heard theres a fishy smell and I hate fish...I'm phobic of vomiting too (bad experience) but if theres a strong fish taste I won't be able to stop myself! Lol

I found low fat ramen that's only 100 cal a packet, and tastes exactly like the normal kind which is 300-400 cal a packet. Fills you up amazingly, half a packet is enough for me for a meal.

Never going back to the broken promises of shiritake. More like SHITitake.

You have to make sure you rinse and cook them properly

what i do is i rinse them under cold water for a few minutes whilst a pan is boiling on the stove and then once the water is boiled i'll put them in there for 5 minutes whilst boiling a kettle

then i take the noodles out of the pot put them into a cup and pour the boiling water from the kettle into the cup and add my stock to that and then i'll bung it in the microwave for another 5 minutes and then drain it and eat it

or i'll stirfry the shit out of it but if I don't cook it really well then i get really nauseaous from them

Leave me alone. I was alone anyway.

I have no one, everything is meaningless.

lol they're made of japanese yam.

I dry-fry them. as in rinse, use a cast-iron skillet and fry them until all the water has evaporated and they're dry.

then I stir-fry them with my veggies.

maybe try the tofu ones instead?
