Pads. I've never used a tampon in my entire life and I'd probably be really scared (without a specific reason lol) to use one

Tampons are unpractical and kinda gross, like you should change it every 3 hours but like if you're in a public bathroom or dont have the chance to wash your hands? I dont want dirty fingers up my vagina
Pads are comfortable but kinda feels like a diaper
But luckily birth controll stopped my menstruation (and cramps !!!!)

Pads. lol I remember when I was little, I thought everyone had to start using tampons eventually. Like, there was no way around it. Pads are only for kids, you can't use them if you're an adult lol. I hate the thought of tampons no thanks.

tampons omg I hate pads so much, they make me feel like I'm wearing a diaper uugh

I've only been able to use tampons for a few years though, I wasn't able to put on in properly until college hahaha. So I totally understand being too scared to put them in! But once I did it, it was such a game changer for me. No more sitting on my own blood muahaha

imo menstrual cups are the best.  you can wear them for twelve hours at a time and there is no risk for toxic shock syndrome.  when i have my period i shower every twelve hours so i can empty, wash, and re-insert it without worrying about making a mess.

if you have a heavy flow, google the super jenny cup.  it has the largest capacity i have seen so far.

Pads. Tampons release chemical and toxic substances that can damage your health cause they're released directly inside of your body.

Made a post about a cup and I want some feedback from those who use them. It has always been tampons for me, but since today I start using a cup.

Cups are great!

I feel like a lot of people get discouraged and quit because it takes a while to learn how to put it in/take it out and learning how long you personally can wear it, etc. but it's honestly worth it once you get used to it. Haven't bought tampons in nearly two years (so that's almost $200 saved), haven't had my period surprise me in public since I can just put it in before it starts, and it doesn't dry out my vagina so no more nails-on-chalkboard feeling of taking out a dry tampon. Plus it holds so much blood, I can basically go out all day without needing to take it out but that depends on your flow of course.

The only downside is that public bathroom situations can be a bit awkward. I usually try to find one with a sink or you can just wipe off the cup with TP and put it back in, etc.

It took me 2 changes to figure out hot to put it in and out. Though I have been using the Ben Wa balls and I'm into the sex toys, so it wasn't that hard =) I have a small flow, so even the first day doesn't fill up the cup during 12 hours. I really like it and I'm never going back to tampons!
