but i prefer menstrual cups and think they're the best option unless you have a condition that prevents it (like vaginismus).

i bought my pads in gigantic quantities before so i'd never run out or be stuck without any, and when this supply runs out (like a month or two, maybe 3) i'll switch to solely using cups.

Panty liners. I don't bleed that much, so it's a waste of money to keep changing out tamps when a Panty liner lasts most of the day.

Pads, once I tried tanpons and I could only get it halfway in. And then I sat down for almost an hour trying to stay calm and get it out :') I was so close to going to the ER because I couldn't get it out omg

Tampons all the way. My flow is so badly bordering hemorrhage every month that I couldn't take another public pad leak for my sanity. I know about toxic shock and how to recognize it if it should happen but I can't care more than that. At least with tampons I can feel it when I'm about to leak and do the shuffle dance to the nearest bathroom.

My accountability

Pads. I haven't used a tampon since I tried it once and I don't think I used it well and it felt weird :(

I want to try other things because the pad is just kind of ugh, but idk :(

I keep going because there's no other option for me.

Cup changed my life

Used to get thrush after every period due to tampon irritation and dryness as they soak up a lot of natural moisture

Plus cups are cheaper long term, feel more natural and are way better for the environment!

I probably have already replied to this but whatever.

I've switched to cloth pads for environmental reasons and I'd only use a tampon when I shower or go swimming. I'm not afraid to wear them, like I used to be.

I wear re useable pantyliners daily to avoid discharge stains on good underwear. If I feel like shit and don't feel like wearing cute underwear I'll wear period underwear and just not care about discharge stains on them. Might be considered gross, but come on, I'm not using cute panties for periods or to go without a panyliner. I'm not going to pitch stained (but clean!!) underwear because I need those for periods and I always leak and get spots of blood on the back anyway.

Tampons, I don't like sitting in my own blood. I'm looking at moving onto the cup though.

I barely bleed anyway.

Tampons are my life when I actually get my period. It visits every couple months when it so pleases.

Pads. Tampons make me feel really uncomfortable and they're just messy and yuck.

I usually wear pads because it's uncomfy but my first days are.. heavier so I'll sometimes use a tampon or cup then.

When i still bled i preferred tampons, because they are discreet and you dont notice them

Tampons- less messy than sitting in a diaper soaked with blood.

Tampons, but sometimes I have it so bad I have to use both tampons and pads :/ otherwise I just prefer tampons because they seem to help a little with cramps (don't ask how) and generally feel less disgusting than pads.
