So I'm a trans male, FtM, and I'm wondering if it is okay for me to take One a Day Women's, which is what my mother has at our house. I know the main thing is the iron content, because female's menstruate. However, I haven't menstruated since I started Testosterone a year ago. So, any advice?

If you're fat and can't run, how are you ever going to join the Doctor in his TARDIS, explore London with Sherlock and John, or fight demons with Sam and Dean?
Vulcans are logical beings. They do not consume animal flesh and only eat as much as they are required to in order to function and maintain life. Have you ever seen a fat Vulcan? No. Conclusion- obesity is illogical.

If you take male hormones, I would think you should take One a Day Men's. However, if a women's multivitamin is all you have access to, I don't think it would hurt at all. You might just end up with more Iron than you need.

i'm intersex and i've always taken women's vitamins. it ain't like they've got estrogen in them :P having too much iron won't hurt you, it might make your poop weird but that's about it (and considering you're on this site weird poop is probably the least of your worries LOL)

I agree with Getthinordietrying, the mens vitamins would work better to complement your testosterone pills & give you're body what it needs to build up that masculine frame. I don't know how long transition takes for FTM but if you're still going through 'puberty' for want of a better word you could look at teen multivitamins which will have different levels for growing boys. ^_^

I personally take fem vitamins, used fem lotions etc.while on estro. (although I still do even though I've not been able to afford them for a while, but then I'm on antiandros too).

I'm a guy. I take prenatal vitamins because they have more vitamins than regular vitamins. Wouldn't really worry about vitamins tailored to men or women, as long as you get what you need. As for too much iron, unless you have a genetic disorder like hemochromotosis then too much iron won't hurt you other than make you constipated and that probably won't happen unless you take them by the handful over long periods of time.
