I have a love/hate relationship with bananas. Ones with brown spots? Those are good I love those. Greenish ones? Fuck that shit it tastes absolutely disgusting and that's all my fam buys and it's just like *gags*

 

Haha I'm like the opposite I can't stand the ones with spots, but I'm a-okay with the greenish ones  :lol:

I mean food you really don't like and never eat, but might be good for you.

My top 3:

  • Mangoes (yeah, I know, nobody understands me. Simply the smell of mangoes makes me sick)
  • Eggplant (Feels like snails..)
  • Anything non vegan

Flax and flax meal tbh. Made a muffin in a mug with it once, and it was disgusting.

Also, raisins--but I don't think they quite count as health food?

I feel you on mangoes and eggplant. I haven't figured out a kale preparation that isn't hard to tolerate yet.
Also cauliflower can S my D forever, man. That crap is the WORST

So uh... There's a plant in China that looks like little white strings of wood, sorta bamboo-y. I have no idea what it's called but I HATE it.

Not so much an individual food, but that "smoothie bowl" trend makes me irrationally angry (smoothie = meh, but smoothie + bowl = "AMAZING!" somehow, idgi??? But I can be pedantic at times, soooo)

All of them

jkjk most of them are great, with the exception of:

*(raw) tomatoes; slimy, strange and unpleasant taste
*bananas; so many calories with such an unsatisfying aftertaste
*avocados; SO many calories, tastes like a stick of butter
*peanut butter; not worth the calories, oily
*grapes; weird texture, on the high side of calories
*rice cakes; they're 91 on the GI scale[pure glucose is at 100], unpleasant taste

(i realised that most of these talk about calories. note that when i say i won't eat a 110kcal banana or whatnot, i don't mean that you're wrong if you like them. a safefood of mine is brown rice(180kcals) so this isn't exactly based in logic)



I can't do raw tomatoes, bananas or avocado either. Just no.

Whole yogurt. Greek yogurt. Yes. That's the good shit. No sugar added. Any sugars are from the lactose.

Anything marketed by Campbell-Mcbride e.g. fermented cod liver oil, high vitamin butter oil.

Bananas (are not a health food! They're calories!)

Dates (are also not a health food!)

White potatoes (not terrible but not a health food either!)

I hate mangos too, tbh to me they have a taste I can only describe as like black pepper. It's bizarre. But I do like mango-flavored things or smoothies that have mango in them in a tropical mix of fruit... 

 

Kale is a disgusting weed and is only edible when drenched in olive oil and salt to make kale chips which defeats the purpose.

Anything that has simply no color like pale fruits and veggies. But I also do dislike too sweet fruit in general, the sugar makes me addicted so I stopped eating fruit...except of berries
Pale fruits are apples, pears, bananas...veggies like ice berg lettuce, reddish or potatos are something I dislike as well.
Soy yoghurt and white tofu are BLUFRGGH.

And yeast. All kind of grains. Hate it. Avoid it for years without a single exception. I believe they cause me headaches since I'm very sensitive to yeast.

What about sweeteners without nutritional value? I don't know where you live, in Germany we have cyclamate (no health issues recorded idk why it's forbidden in the us)?
Ahhh I couldn't live without anything sweet :(
