This is one of my most recent poems written about Ana. It isn't pretty or delicate in talking about her, but hopefully someone can relate:

Skin pulled tight against
fragile bones,
shadows well in the dip
of my collar,
my sunken cheeks creaking
a warning,
she is in the room
she will scream
and she will rage
if those cheeks fill.
I rattle
the glorious chime
of emptiness
my belly screams
my head groans
pain courses through every inch
of my wasted body
aching to see the
slightest hint;
hips
ribs
wrists
BonesBonesBones
I will not eat
I will be beautiful
She mouths a chantra
of SkinnySkinnySkinny.
I am never hungry
with Ana on my shoulder.
