I've done this diet a few times and I have to say it is my absolute favorite for shedding pounds quickly.  I usually just do 246 and skip the 8 though (kinda feels like a binge to me)

i think the 800 cals will speed up your metabolism again and you will loose more weight the days after that..  i think this diet sounds effective :)

Could I just do the "2-4-6" & not the "8"? Would it still work? I believe 800 cal is a little too much...

Hi all
I'm going to try to start this diet today so I hope I can stick to it. Was thinking of going 8642 then the correct 2468 as I don't know if I could go from normal eating straight to 200cals
Good luck to everyone else can't wait to hear some positive stories :)

I'm going to start it tomorrow, and after a week i let you know howit is. Any workout plans in that diet needed? I think to become tinier it's better to it less fat and diary and more fruits - even if they are sweet. whatdo you think?

Been on it a week now and lost 6lbs, which I'm quite happy with.

That included a huge binge and a mini binge and moderate exercise. I'm sure if I had have been stronger and done more exercise, I'd have lost way more.

I'm gonna carry on though :)

I am new to this diet and want to start it tomorrow! I'm a newbie so if any 20-30 yr old wants to be a 2468 buddy with me and start tomorrow that would be great! I will be very encouraging.

What about exercise?
Is this net calories or do we have to stick to the limits even if doing exercise?

hi I am also new around here... I just read about the ABC diet and was all pumped about it starting it tomorrow... and here I end up seeing this 2468 Diet.

Now I am confused, don't know which one I should do. This is the first time I hear of these diets.

Any recommendations for those who have tried both diets?
