At the start of my diet, I was taking a vitamin and eating as few calories as I felt comfortable (which was like 1200) and I thought I'd lose weight really fast because I walk two miles to work and have to run around there. But the iron in the vitamin was slowing my, erm, digestion down and the low calories made it go even slower along with my metabolism just bottoming out. When I hit the plateau, I tried doing the same thing for a while with a couple pretty high calorie days, but eventually I just boosted my calories up to be between 1400-1700 and joined the gym.

The scale read 166 today, so the bloat is starting to go down. I'm drinking extra water still and trying to avoid salt just to be sure.

Fasting mostly , currently fasting till oct first :) 3 days down , 3 more to go :) You ?

After a 4 day plateau I dropped 2lbs overnight and am now 160lbs... 2 more days to lost the final 1lb... I guess it can be done if my body cooperates

Oh good luck! :) I am the biggest failure ever when it comes to fasting. I tried it all to get used to it. When I was younger I was fine, but now I couldn't fast for an hour :L

I'm eating high protein, low carb. Lots of water and bittersweet green tea. I try to eat as clean as I can, lots of veggies, little fruit (I'm not a fruit person) and 40 mins - 1 hour of pilates a day, except Sunday. Sunday is rest day so I do 20-30 minutes which generally includes stretching and a total body workout. I use all Blogilates youtube videos for my workouts :) I don't do cardio either. I keep trying to make myself, but it doesn't happen. I waste 10 minutes just lazying through the video so I just do extra pilates instead now. Hoping to get a stationary bike once I get a job. That's the only cardio I don't hate :L

I find it easier to fast than follow a certain diet. Because if I eat anything I'll end up eating everything. I don't exercise much while fasting though, the only thing I do daily is a 30 min walk . But on days I do eat I burn double the calories of what I ate :) I'll definitely check out blogilates :) Ya stationary bikes are great :P Best of luck lovely :)

I'll join you! I lost like 25 lbs. but now I'm back up to my SW of around 160. My goal is to get to 130-125 by the beginning of december.

I gained a little because of some stupidity including crying to my boyfriend about how I'm doing with body image and eating and stuff. Currently sitting at 160. Doing liquids today and probably going to the gym tonight.

My bloating finally stopped, and I even lost some weight. I'm down to 162.0! I'm going to the gym tonight and maybe drinking some senna tea since I haven't done that in a while. Maybe I'll even see 160 tomorrow?

Goal %: 18% or a little less

Daily Calorie Goal: Net around 1000-1200

GW3: 159 (New Haircut and Ear Piercing)

GW4: 154 (Finally not Overweight anymore!)

UGW: 145 and I'm getting Braces finally

Well, after 6 days I am 160 lbs.... So only lost 4lbs this week, but still it's good... Slowly but surely.

Well, it took a couple more days than a week thanks to stupid plateaus, but I am officially OUT of the 160's thanks to this thread!! Now I want to get out of the 150's but I am giving myself 2/3 weeks for that because the weight loss is more steady now as I have gotten past the initial crazy "dropping weight like mad" phase... Still, all in the right direction and I've not cheated really. Kept below about 700 calories most days, I admit, I had 3 episodes of binge/purge during the last week, but they were small binges and I am after all diagnosed bulimic so I guess I can't apologise for that... I mean, I have been really good, practically "recovered" for 2 years so the odd slip up will not kill me as long as it is only the odd slip up...

holy crap, I was in the 160s last year this time. I WISH I was still there. Like, darn, I was trying to get out of the 160s for like 3 years! And now I'm at freaking 190 ..    *head explodes*

Glad you got out of it... I'm going to read through this entire thread because there was obviously good advice given :)

Uh oh I ate a lot and now I’m 165.4 but I’m sure I can lower it with rigorous exercise and only eating the egg frittata I made after.
