Specifically thriller and psychological, but any sub genre.

I LOVE the director Bong Joon-Ho, so The Host and Mother 2009, I haven't watched Anti-Christ yet but I've seen clips and I enjoy them so far, Death Bell, Rigor Mortis, Train to Busan, Sunshine 2007, and The Descent was really fun as well. I haven't seen many despite it being my favourite genre, I want to watch more! Doesn't have to be a masterpiece, just a film you liked.

Would love to add Photos/Gifs but I can't get it to work

For psychological, Perfect Blue is fantastic.

I was just about to make a thread like this because I NEED to find more horror gems

I'm a horror fanatic. I watch horror movies all the time. I've seen many many of them and I'll list my all time faves. And trust me, these are super great movies.

- Black Swan (also amazing thinspo)
- The Gift
- The Shining
- Don't Breathe
- Creep 1 and 2
- The Visit
- Lights Out
- Insidious
- It (2017)
- Saw (the first one)
- I Saw The Devil
- The Autopsy of Jane Doe
- Grave Encounters one and two

I gotta talk about Grave Encounters. I gotta point this one out because it is superb horror. I will say it is a little cliche especially because it incorporates both occultism AND insane asylum type stuff so I didn't think I'd like it because of the cliches but really. Seriously. Just the imagery itself scared my butt off and it was just downright creepy, and not another annoying, predictable blood bath type deal. So MOVING ON

- A Cure for Wellness
This one was interesting. I didn't love love love the story but the visual effects and bits and pieces of it were quite genius I think.

- Sinister 1 and 2, 2 was better to me
- The Void, a little bit of a blood bath but a great story and setting
- Eraserhead

So Eraserhead has a special place in my heart. Honestly if there is a movie I could unwatch... It might be Eraserhead. Not because it wasn't good. It was.... The scariest movie I've ever seen. It wasn't that violent. There wasn't any ghosts or dead people or anything like that. But it was a nightmare. A downright nightmare that will never leave my head. Now that... Is true horror.

- the original Exorcist, of course

I think I'm missing a few but I'll edit this if I remember any I've forgotten.

Also some I liked (not loved)

- Hidden
- Friend Request
- Hellraiser series
- The Conjuring 1 and 2, I didn't like the first Annabelle movie spin off but I did like Annabelle: The Beginning. A good doll movie and those are kinda hard to find (hard to pull off too)

Edit: I keep editing this lol
