Hi! I'm new to all this and I wanted to have opinions on how many calories I should intake per day. I exercise for one hour each day, its only aerobics though. I know this is a pretty hard question to answer because each person is different but all suggestions will help, thank you,

i try to keep it under 500 calories a day, but my absolute max is 800.

Hey :) you could try the lunerbelle diet its on this thread its got a guide line calorie intake per day for higher weights xxxx

I do 500 a day. It's realistic enough that I can keep it up and you can eat a lot of nutritious food for that. I only jog about half an hour a day, so not active.

Normally below 500 cal.

I couldn't lose one pound on 500/day. I'm doing 700 now and losing again. I'm gradually trying to get to 800. I don't want to screw my metabolism up.

Usually less than 500 calories. That seems like the magic number. lol

When I first started, it was 800-1200. Now I'm doing 500-900, with the occasional 1200-1500 day because it's impossible to hide my eating once in awhile from certain family members, and I prefer one day where I just try to limit and deal rather than get stopped by them.


Height: 5'4" HW: 93kg


GW 1: 85kg (I get AWESOME earrings)

GW 2: 80kg

GW 3: 75kg

GW 4: 70kg (Highlights/Lowlights)

GW 5: 65kg

GW 6: 60kg - Shopping Spree
GW 7: 55kg

UGW: ?

CW: 150 lbs / 68 kg

Why do you stop losing when your eating around 500 cals and it's low fat low carb ?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

Been eating 0-100 calories during the week but been getting sick.  Probably need to re-evaluate but I don't really know where to start.   Not eating is not a problem.  Getting sick is >_<

I've experienced this a lot.  It stops.  Then goes.  Then goes up.  Then lower than before.  Just stick with it :) Me personally it has to do with if I've been drinking alcohol, when my period is, and if I'm drinking enough water.  It's not going to be constant, but don't take weight loss as an opportunity to add more food and plateaus as a reason to give up.  

 

Tenacity will get you to your goal!
