This is going to sound really super simple, but, Spinach. Why Spinach? It takes a lot of effort for your body to digest, so that burns more calories, it's full of vitamins and minerals, since it takes awhile to digest it keeps you feeling fuller longer, it takes forever to chew, making you feel more full, and it's only 20 calories per serving. A serving is 2 to 3 cups, depending on the brand. I try to eat some of this every day, because it has a lot of vitamins, is low calorie, and takes a lot more calories for your body to digest it than most other foods.

I do love spinach though. Do you have them boiled or eat it as it is?!

there is, in fact, an incredible freedom in having nothing left to lose~

I eat it just as it is. Usually in a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and celery. It's super filling, really low cal, and is just overall really good for you. It's really good for people restricting calories, because of all of the vitamins, calcium, iron, and all that, but without all of the gross fat and calories. I also sometimes put it in smoothies. As a "meal replacement" i will do a ripe banana that's ripe enough to be extra sweet, some blueberries raspberries and strawberries, then the spinach and water. I love that for lunch or sometimes breakfast because between the spinach, berries, and banana, you're getting a ton of different vitamins, and no fat. I personally worry way more about fat than calories, because calories are easy to burn, but fat is hard to burn. How do you eat your spinach?

Spinach is delicious and it's what they call a super food, because it's one of those natural, pure foods that is amazing for you and has a bunch of good stuff in it. Also, it's awesome because you can put it in smoothies, soup, salad, and pretty much anything. Your mom won't let you buy spinach? That's interesting. It's one of the healthiest foods you can buy, so that's odd.

Spinach is amazing, I always like to have some in my refrigerator. What do you guys put on your spinach? I'm not too fond of the taste if it doesn't have some distilled white vinegar or a light salad dressing on it.
