About to begin a Service Econimist education (career: a hotel or restaurant leader/manager). Before this I was studying Japanese (6 months) and also did a culinary course (also 6 months).

English Literature with Creative Writing BA Hons. I study from home which is hard sometimes - it's 100% up to me to motivate myself, but it also means I attend 'lectures' in bed...

I'm a 3L law student (In Europe there isn't LSAT - for the bar exam, you have to earn a master - so I'm stuck here for 4 more years T.T)

And about restricting, the less I eat, the more I seem able to focus on my readings, is that weird ?

Ldsstr- I also was studied law in europe (master) graduated last year. I also found it easier to focus when I was restricting. Everyone said it should be easier to study if I ate more. But for me I couldn't concentrate at all if I was eating. I guess it was the anxiety

Music Performance, specifically voice and opera! :)  Lemme tell ya, being a performing arts major is triggering as hell.  Restricting doesn't really cause me much trouble as long as I stay hydrated!

Beginning my masters in voice performance. Potentially going to double, haven't decided yet. From what I've learned from my undergrad (I double majored then, so I had no less than 20 credit hours per semester) it depends on the person. For some it's easier than others. If I absolutely HAD to eat to give myself energy for my studies, I just made sure it was always vegetables, sometimes fruits due to the sugar, and NOTHING processed- that includes diet soda, but I'm also not a big soda drinker anyway, and those artificial sweeteners are bad for you. I agree with many of the other posts that studying definitely takes my mind off food, but sometimes I just had to give my brain a little energy.

I'm in my first year of Medicine. I don't have any problems studying even when I haven't eaten anything so long as I've had enough sleep/caffeine/nicotine. I only struggle on days when I have to walk around a lot because I'm very anemic and bad at remembering to take my iron supplements so fatigue easily doing anything more demanding than sitting at a desk.

I'm majoring in Biology or Zoology next year (I'm a senior in HIgh School).

So far, I think that ana and studying help each other. I have more time to study, and studying gets my mind off of food. :)

All of you seem so successful.

I'm going in a few weeks, and I don't know what I'll to study. I don't even know what classes to take (no requirements) since I have no interests except being sitting around being depressed. I feel like I should drop out because I'm wasting money.

Double major in anthropology and art history! Going into my senior year, then looking to go to grad school for my masters degree in either anthropology or food studies/gastronomy...I'm fascinated with food and feeding other people! Weird, I know haha.

Bcom Accounting final year at the University of Johannesburg, studying at night makes it easier for me not to think of food and concentrate more.
The more I restrict, the more in control I feel.
When you're also always busy, there's no time to think about food, I like that alot

I'm studying music (voice performance, to be more specific). Once I transfer I want to double major in Music and Psychology (my current school doesn't have a psychology major, just a few classes), and possibly minor in creative writing and Italian. I have too many interests... I want to study everything. lol

I like to try to take a lot of classes so I'm always busy and don't have time to eat or really think about food either.
