Okay well, my name is Miranda and I’m 17. I like musical theatre and dancing, all of which I study at school. I also enjoy playing Pokémon go and taking long ass walks

My highest weight was 75 kgs, and I got there by developing BED thanks to anxiety, depression, my parents divorce and some other unpleasant events. My GW is 50 kg right now but my parents are on my back so I’m unsure if I’ll be able to get there.

I also have a cute cat.

I like keeping track of my weight with spreadsheets and stuff like this since I’m a super messy person otherwise

Hiya Miranda. I used to study theatre and dancing too! And you should totally post pictures of your cat here this month. Super motivational

This is great and just in time! I would love to join if its okay : )
Im Deniz, 5'10 and my starting weight is 77kgs. My goal weight is 60kgs. I love the outsides, animals, indie music, astrology. I recently had a big move, so Im still under culture shock, which developed anxiety and depression for me. I feel like this will be a great help to me, since I love weighing myself daily and not being able to keep track of it.

(Also,,, i wrote in my stats and my access was denied... i sent a request if it works, sorry!)

I'm in ! I've struggled with my weight all my life and I've been on and off this site for many years, I struggle with binge eating disorder. I'm back and at my highest weight since my "recovery" :(

This is a great idea.

My name is Sage. I'm 25. I love movies and I'm looking into going back to school to study film soon as I want to be a director .
My highest weight was around 220 or so but I'm now at 197 lbs.
My first goal is to get to about 150.
I'm hoping this will help me gain control of my eating habits and ultimately my crazy life

Hi my name is Ryan and I am truly disgusted with myself. I just got back from treatment a couple months ago and my parents have been watching me go to the bathroom as to not let me purge. Now I am at my HIGHEST weight. I dont think any of you are ready for this. Keep in mind I am 6'3 guy but here we go. I weigh 245 lbs rn :unsure: . My long term goal is to get to 190 maybe even less. My shorterm goal for the month of july is to be down to 235. But since I cant binge and purge Im trying to take a new path...restricting. I would really like to be apart of this group!

I've never tried this before, but hopefully daily tracking will really keep me accountable so here we go.

Hi, my name is Kris. I'm a 36 yr old female starting my life over from scratch - almost like hitting the reset button but with extremely challenging mental health issues to deal with now. I have PTSD, Panic Disorder, Depression, and a 20 year history with various eating orders though it seems that the PTSD has kicked started my decline back into AN. My highest weight was 250 lbs (and 5'3 I'm totally disgusted with myself for letting it get that bad - BED) and my current weight is 138 lbs. I've been stuck at this weight for about a month now. I'd love to see 125 lbs by the end of July, but given my plateau that may be a very lofty goal. I still see myself as a huge, fat person when I look in the mirror but I'm hoping eventually I'll be able to see just how far I've come.

I just recently moved to a new city in a new country after 12 years in a toxic and very abusive marriage that ended when he took his own life and I found his body. For now I'm unemployed but going back to school in September for Computer Engineering as I really want to be a programmer. I'm interested in web development as well, so as a way to pass time this summer, I bought a domain and hosting space and am teaching myself to create my own website with the intent of hopefully eventually being able to do freelance work since my mental health issues prevent me from going back to working customer service.

I really enjoy running and have started training for a half marathon. I also spend a lot of time just randomly walking around exploring my new city. Recently, I've started becoming interested in craft beers and tend to search them out to try them (though it's extremely hard for me to do this on my own - I'm working on it!) Photography is another one of my hobbies and I'm an avid animal lover. Can't wait to have another dog (someday) as I lost my best friend, a German Shepherd, to cancer.

Wow Kris this is awesome. I'm in absolute awe that you can go through so much and have so much drive still! It's a great thing to feel proud of yourself for!

I really hope that by being in this group you can see how far you've come, because in my eyes you've traveled to the moon and back again! Hopefully we get to see some of your photography and hear more of your stories

I'd love to join! My name is Liv, I'm 24, 5'4", and gained tons of baby weight having 4 babies in less than 4 years. I'm about 3 months in to losing it, plus another 70lbs or so. I love music and going to concerts (especially classic rock and metal). I also love games (anything, video games/card games/board games), photography, art, and hanging with my family. I've struggled with depression and anxiety over the years, and while I'm doing better I'm hoping that overcoming my weight issue will help even more. I'm on a VLCD of 350 calories or less per day, with the occasional higher calorie day every 1 or 2 weeks (usually never higher than 1000).

Hey!! Haven't been apart of one of these forums in a long time, but I'm looking forward to making some awesome progress in July! Last July I was at my heaviest at 235lbs and now I'm at 191. Just started the ABC diet today so hopefully I can break this plateau that I've been stuck at for months. Good luck to everyone!  :D

Yeah I was wondering how the site issues were holding up  :blink: I haven't been on MPA for a while (mostly because of that). Do you mind filling me in? Was EDC and PAO pre-existing, or now exist because MPA is broken?

So, an update from me.

 

Happy 21st birthday to my husband. Way to go to on the relapse Leigh!!

So it turns out I'm not upwards of 170lbs, which is a win! I weighed in at 164lbs after food and with clothes (tbh I'm gonna stick to the clothes on thing because the only hard surfaces in this house are shared). So I've adjusted my start to 165 and set my goal to 155 since I used to lose just under 10lbs a month when I pushed it and I think I can do it again. 

 

Plans for tonight include going out for drinks with the other half and friends, and trying not to get SO WASTED that I want dinner. So fingers crossed for that. How is everyone else doing? What are your plans for this month? Are you changing it up at all or sticking with what you know?
