Hey guys I'm going on a road trip and I need some ideas for super low calorie snacks and meals to take with me. I usually try to keep under 500 calories per day,and I'm vegan.
Thank you thank you

i'm a road trip veteran!

regular carrots (not baby! they're too wet.)

iced tea (unsweet)

a few nuts

podcasts/road music mixes/audio books

and i always find it satisfying to get some gas station treats.

if you're in a small town, there's always something interesting.

or, just some fritos.

- freeze dried fruit - usually only 50-100 calories for a huge bag
- Gum so if someone offers you food you have an excuse to say no
- sliced cucumber/raw broccoli/celery and I know it’s already been said but CARROTS I LOVE THEM
- rice cakes with your favorite toppings (hummus, vegan cheese, jam, PB or PB alternatives, mustard, cinnamon, etc)
- blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries 40-85 calories a cup!

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head
This is a horrible contribution to MPA, and I regret it, but not enough to abstain from posting it.

Seaweed! It's a bit salty but it's only 30-50cal a pack (of seaweed, not a box itself)

Seaweed snacks
A case of diet soda
A couple apples
Dried fruit
A pack of nuts
Water bottle (reusable)
I take a portable game or knitting to keep my brain and hands busy

OMG so for road trips I usually say

-fruit like apples, bananas, pears, peaches plums and citruses like oranges, tangerine, grapefruit

- also there are so many vegan versions of snacks you can bring

-unbuttered poppcorn
-sea weed
-vegan gummy/fruit snacks
-vegan pretzels
-oreos... If you dare

I highly recommend going to actual grocery store once you arrive at your destination and if you are able to stop in between towns and go to actual grocery stores and not just little convenience store is it will make a huge difference.

Have a happy and safe travel ❤️❤️❤️
