Hi there! My name is grace. I’m going to use this as my accountability to lose 60 lbs by the end of December. I’ve been doing great with fasting so far and have lost 13 lbs total. Outside of fasting I’ve been doing keto and IF, so I’m more prepared to long term fast. The longest fast I’ve done is a 66 hour fast but I’m hoping fast 168 hours starting yesterday at 5pm.

A little backstory: I’m 26 (27 on October 1st) and I’m 5ft1. Ive always been overweight and even obese. My highest weight ever was 215. I need to lose weight for my health, to accomplish at least one goal in life and to feel good and feel perfect. Here’s what I’m hoping to accomplish:

July 1st 170 (done!)
August 1st 160
September 1st 150
October 1st 140
November 1st 130
December 1st 120
January 1st 112

Ultimate goal is 112 lbs, not 110.. I don’t really know why 112. I’ve just always been obsessed with that number. In my mind I think I’ll be perfect at 112 but I’m sure once I’m there I’ll want to be 110 or even keep going. Who knows lol.

Stats for today, July 9th:
Weight: 172.9 | BMI: 32.7 (obese)

I’ll be allowing myself water, green tea, diet Dr Pepper and coke 0 on occasion, snake juice, vitamin c. Refeed foods: sweet potato, apple, watermelon, coffee with cream, bacon, lox, eggs, zucchini and Greek yogurt.

I’ll be posting weight and BMI every day when I can as well as ~feelings~ and what I ate. I’ll be posting pictures when I feel more confident? I think.

I'll be following your journey as I have similar goals! I want to lose possibly 60lbs in the next six months as well 🙂 good luck to you!!! I'd like to join you as well. 💙
I am also 26! I am 5'3" and 151lbs right now(bmi:26.8). My first goal is 111lbs(my previous low weight) and then possibly 91 or 96 for my ugw in December.

I want to be real as possible here so I want to say I was weak and ate around 1200 cals tonight. Starting the fast over at 6 pm tonight. I did make it 23 hours but far from my goal. Still want to do 168 hours. Thankfully there’s no food left and I’m broke 😂😅

Weight: 171.8 | BMI: 32.5 (obese)
Hour of fast: 14

My old boss that I haven’t seen in a few weeks came by my office and noticed my weight loss. That always feels good and is extra motivation for me. He was a bigger guy who lost a lot of weight (although he was always bringing food to the office) so I’m glad he said something and also relieved he didn’t ask how. I’m always scared to say fasting for some reason even though he told me he’s fasted in the past. I’m not ashamed I just don’t want the people in my life to influence me with their opinions. That sounds kinda fucked up but it’s true.

There’s a breakfast meeting that smells delicious down the hall so I’m just pretending I’m eating the sausage and biscuits lol. This time around has been the hardest so far. I think because before this fast I let myself slip and binge on bad foods. I’m ready to detox it all out of my system. I think after 72 hours it will be smooth sailing, I just have to get there first.

So happy to see the 160s this morning!! I promise myself I’ll never see the 170s again!!! I’m feeling good.

Don’t give up! I’m not either. I did eat. I ate some hamburger helper I made for my bf. But I made it 48 hours so it’s not a total loss in my book. I’m just going to do better next time.

I’m not very good at keeping my mind off eating because one bite turned into one serving turned into grazing after I was putting the leftovers away. I’ll tell you when I’ve gone a successful 72+ hours

I wanted to wait to post again until significant changes but oh well

Stats for today, July 18th:
Weight: 167.6 | BMI: 31.7 (obese)
Hour of fast: honestly 30 something but I ate chocolate yesterday

I’m about to start that time of the month so that’s why I think my weight has stayed the same. I’ve been an emotional wreck and a nightmare to my bf and he deserves a happier healthier me. I’m just praying everything works out. He’s the love of my life and the one thing I care about.

Keep up the good work . I’m something similar (I allow myself 100 calories in liquids a day) and am on day 5! I’m 5 ft8 and right now the scale said 174.2 ... I CANNOT WAIT to be out of the dreadful 170’s I have the same attitude as you definitly never going back to that number once it hit the 160,! I’m so proud of you your such a realistic inspiration!

You totally got this! I’ve been fasting for almost 50 hours now and aiming for 84 or longer. My longest is 61 and I hope I can get through day 3

Hour of fast: 16

Tonight is my dads birthday so I’m going to eat but I’m going to keep it under 500 calories.

Went for my first run in so long today and I’m feeling great. I’m going to carefully start to incorporate exercise more.

My bf and I are doing better so I’m happy ❤️

Hour of fast: starting again

I didn’t get to where I wanted to get to but it just means next month I’ll have to work harder. For some reason it’s easier for me to start fresh in a new month. I’m resetting everything and for the first time ever I’m going to quit diet soda cold turkey starting now. August is going to be water only. I’m also going to start water only period until I’m 155 lbs. In August the only foods im allowing myself is watermelon to break fast and then a keto diet at the end of the month and then keto all September with intermittent fasting. I think if I do this I can still get to 145 by my birthday (oct 1st).

Going to be posting every day for water fast accountability but not my weight. My bf took his scale back to his place and I’m not going to be there but maybe once or twice a week so I’ll post weight when I can.

Everyday that I don’t drink diet soda is a proud one! It is definitely a victory to lose taste for it, or at least when the value < restraint.
