Now that I've lost about 35-ish lbs (half of what I want to lose), I feel this less  - but latterly, at the peak of my gain at the start of this year, I was finding it difficult to get dressed easily  :wacko: Putting a bra on felt like a massive endurance test, ffs.

 

I'm still embarrassed that I'm so unfit that I get out of breath doing things I shouldn't … walking up steep hills, doing mild exercise. I need to get back to the gym (back, lol, like I was ever a regular) but I feel too embarrassed still, and keep putting it off for another half a stone. Swimming and aquafit are all I can manage without embarrassing myself being a sweaty hyperventilating mess  :P

THE CLOTHES THING IS SO TRUE. Since gaining 130 pounds I've noticed how much harder getting dressed is. Like I don't go out just because I don't want to get dressed.

I live in a creeky old house, and even though it always makes noise when ANYONE is walking normally, I can't even sneak around anymore without making noise. And I can't walk normally because it sounds awful

Had a guy I met recently tell me, "Huh, your body is weird. You are overweight, but toned too. I'm not judging though, I was husky when I was young too." Obvious negging is obvious.

Another embarrassing thing is shopping for accessories. You'd think if you can't wear cute clothes at least you can accessorize, turns out scarves look like napkins, you can't find fitting rings and all the necklaces don't look like you want them to because you underestimated the width of your neck. Don't get me started about shoes and how ridiculous a fat lady looks in heels.

Also very embarrassing: When you postpone giving yourself a pedi forever because there's a massive stomach in your way.

Someone mentioned dark pigmentation on the armpits and inbetween legs: I've also had this around my neck and under my belly, those got significantly better after losing around 50 lbs. It's usually a sign of diabetes but if you have always been fat you get that too.

Also I hate the tummy thing. I hate having to dry under my saggy belly.

I hate sitting on benches and worrying they’ll collapse.

I hate buying trousers because they make me look like I have massive muffin top.

I hate my arms uncovered because they’re huge.

I swear I even have fat feet, like they bulge over shoes and stuff.

Having to wear special underwear under my skirts to keep my thighs from chafing or developing bleeding blisters. Yeah that’s attractive.

Not being able to flirt with people or even be friendly without getting “that look” the “oh Shit the fatty is hitting on me” look.

Having to hold my camera five feet above my head to avoid getting my neck fat in the shot.

Having a dessert without everyone making faces at me.

Thigh chafing, stretch marks, and double chin.

I absolutely hate those.

I have to hold my phone at this awkward angle when taking photos of myself to look halfway decent. And I can just outright forget looking good in pictures that other people take of me. They almost always take it at an angle that has me looking like I have a "spare tire" around my neck. Yuck.

There's more than a few photos that I've had taken of me with people I'd waited years to meet that I wanted to cry after seeing how bad I looked in the photos.

Also sick of looking like a bunch of sausage links in clothes that are even the least bit snug on me.

Finally, family members making "sound effects" for my footsteps if they see me walking around the house. ...and they wonder why I want to stay in my room all day.

All of the above and to add... having to remove my wedding ring because it got too tight on my sausage fingers. And a wardrobe full of beautiful clothes I used to wear. I can't wait to get these back I've lost 28lb so far got 56lb to go before I'm back to normal weight of 100 to 110lb.

I'm like this too. It's a personal preference really - I used to be like that before I got this big... But with this heatwave, people keep telling me to take layers off, and with my body being as it is, it's a definite "fuck no!" from me every time.

Spending less time shaving my hideously fat legs and still missing parts even after going over them again

Not having back rolls in everything 

Chub rub, cant wait to be able to wear dresses and skirts on nights out and not chafe 

Double chin, because when I weigh less ive got a sick sharp jaw line 

Not feeling like im too fat and unattractive for the guy im seeing who is a 12/10 IMO

ALL OF THESE :( :(

Bottoms chafing - leggings, shorts, and jeans.

Drying under my fat rolls.

Seeing my bat wings flap when I move my arms.

Not being able to keep up with my five year old. I can run and jump and play but I get so winded, and then my face turns red and shit.

Sitting on the toilet and feeling how far out my body overlaps.

Pulling on bottoms and having to make the choice of pulling my pants over my fat or leaving my fat hanging out. Both look gross but it's a choice I'm forced to make because of my own choices.

Back fat -_- I have boobs the same size as my back fat rolls..

Not being able to fit in my husband's clothes. He is the same weight as me but he is muscular and constantly moving and has a high metabolism. He is a size medium and only when I lost forty pounds was I able to fit in his clothes.

Buying clothes in general is shit. I just bought shorts and looking at them now, I realize how big they are :(

Not being able to wear certain shirts because when I lift my arms, my stomach sags out or because they're not long enough, and instead they stretch out width wise.

Double chin when trying to contour -_-

Working out in an attempt to get healthy and only being able to go ten minutes or less :(

This is a little specific but-

 

hearing a creaking sound when I'm on a swing. I feel so self-conscious  when I'm chilling with my friends and they look angelic swinging but my swing sounds like it's gonna collapse in any moment.
