So I generally like to be alone, but on the off chance I want to go out with my friends or go on a date, everyone thinks it is completely necessary to involve some sort of food. Am I the only one who gets frustrated by this??

Yeah, I totally get it.
I'm getting closer to this guy I like, and he said we should "hang out" sometime. Unfortunately, that probably means getting lunch after school...

Oh my gosh, this drives me crazy! I mean, I thought hanging out with people was to see them and have fun, not go out to eat and be done.

I hate it, I just try to get the lightest vegan food available.

Acctually, I feel like I can sikip the food most times, especially with friends, but beers will be the down of me. Not only do we mostly go out in the evenings, I'm not that good at refusing alcohol and a vodka/coke zero mix is not always available and usually much more expensive... I swear 50% of my fat is from alcohol alone and it's disgusting.

I agree.

Food is a social bonding mechanism for primates, and unfortunately it will probably always be this way. :/

Although it's absolutely true, there's not much we can do to change society.

Most of the so-called food that people socialize around is toxic and over processed.

If everyone wants to make food the center piece of their day the least they should do is eat non-animal protein sources.

Always remember MEAT is MURDER!

It’s so annoying. I hate when I meet a super cute guy and he tries to take me to a restaurant. There are sooo many other things to do besides stuff our faces
