Coffee helps me. I stay between 160- 250 calories a day. A few days ago I had 95 calories. I stay busy.

Question is.. is it consistent? anyone can eat 500 calories or less for one day.. but doing that weeks on end would be very difficult

Sometimes you get scared to get to a specific number, for me it depends, EDs change a lot over time.
But yeah low-restriction is dumb and we all know that, I used to low-restrict for long periods of time and it fucked up my health and metabolism.

I only restricted that much the days after a binge. Just felt full enough from having had a lot of food prior. Otherwise i cannot function on that low of an intake. Having salt and protein helps me stay as low as possible though. Keeps me full and less likely to pass out

Knowing the confidence boost that I get from completing a long fast helps. Lowering eating frequency to once day to few times a week also helps keep hunger and motivation to eat very low.

Keeping the eating frequency and window very small and committing to longer fasts usually helps. I look at energy balance on weekly basis rather than daily basis. I will sate myself on about two large meals per week now and fast.

Different strokes for different folks. People try stuff and find what works. I just keep busy and try to be left the hell alone, and live off of about 0-500 cals. Some people go all the way up to 1400 a day and live relatively normal lives. I get into shouting matches with my stepdad about my eating habits.

i have a nicotine addiction. waste of money and lung health, do not recommend 0/10


some people have said it already but high restriction is honestly way more sustainable and consistent, especially if ur working or a student!

I just hate myself a lot. When i feel really bad and want to die, i don't see the point in eaitng. Also, i sleep all day.

EDs aren't logical. If we could all make rational decisions when it comes to what we eat there would be a lot less traffic on this site.

unfortunately eds are far from logical so even if you know for a fact that eating more calories would still result in weight loss, your brain is like "yea but that wont work for ME" lol

Just telling myself I can eat more tomorrow. Then procrastinating with it, constantly. I don't eat super little, but I've been able to restrict recently and that's how it's been working lol

Caffeine when I’m fatigued/want the sensation of something in my stomach, nicotine for cravings, weed for stomach pain, then back to caffeine again/rinse/repeat.

Its not sustainable or recommended but if I’m always drinking something (0-10cal) or smoking something I don’t think about putting food in my mouth.

My diet consist of


Breakfast Not at work


3 egg whites 35 cal

1/2 tbs velveeta cheese 16

couple drops Franks red hot sauce


(sounds gross but its like a craving)



fruit and veggies

sometimes a Lite progresso soup of 1/2 - 1 cup 35-70cal



1 cup of white cheddar skinny pop  45 cal


supper depends on what family wants
