I just don’t feel hungry anymore after I got in the habit of eating 200 cal a day...

i dont enjoy food. i eat to live. basically i dont have an appetite at all and i dont experience hunger cues.

I eat 1200kcals or so of good quality food and some treats. No food is off limits, just portions are adjusted for optimal physical and mental satiation :)

I don't feel a need or a want to. It's counterproductive to my goals anyway, so I'd rather just barely eat, feel good and be content haha

I don't really to be honest

It makes me feel like a "Fake" I guess but I always have a coffee shake + two meals (granted, they're just protein and veggies) plus some snacks 

However, my snacks are either:

1) really low cal or low carb

2) fruits/veggies

So I really do consume a lot each day, but since it's mostly healthier food, it averages to around 800-1200 every day

On top of that, the exercise I do burns 200-400.

Honestly, this is what has worked best for me because it helps me avoid binges (since I know I have room for cals if I want to eat something a bit more caloric), keeps me in shape, and lets my brain function LOL

I'm a firm believer that consuming very little cals has really bad impacts on your brain, I have no clue how anyone whose body has "gotten used" to such low cals is able to do intense work with their mind

Whenever I’m about to enter a phase of low restriction, i fast for 2 days. This automatically lowers my appetite and soon enough my stomach shrinks and my hunger cues sort of go away after time

I have been in recovery for a while. I am mostly recovered - I can handle most things but please just be kind ^^
I still have some bad habits, like bingeing and restricting, but I am actively trying to be better.
I am a doll collector and I love anime like sugar sugar rune and kodomo no jikan !!!
I don’t come on here often, but sometimes I come back to vent or read about how others have been.

How do you make your coffee shake?


I put 3/4 cup almond milk, ~1 cup of ice, 1-2 tbsps of brown sugar (can increase or decrease depending on how sweet you want it), & ~1 tbsp of instant coffee (can also increase decrease)

It tastes so good imo & it’s around 50-80 cals depending on how much brown sugar you put :))

im just wondering how you guys are able to eat so little everyday. like if i eat under 500 calories, ill get really sick and my body will start to reject food if i try to eat. 

another question. please dont get mad at me for asking: but why? for me if i eat 250 calories ill lose they same amount of weight from eating 1000 calories. 

 i even lost a pound from eating 1200 calories once. so whats the point of eating like 200 calories daily?

for me its the fact that i crave that sick, dizzy feeling from restricting really low sometimes. not always, but sometimes i do need to feel like i am actually hurting my body rn and i dont really get that when im high restricting, even though i know weight wise it probably doesnt make that much of a difference.

the fact that low restriction also makes me feel kinda sick sometimes doesnt exactly help because at some point i just dont want to eat anymore and its hard to even get to 400-500kcals

Food doesnt tempt me anymore, I am just uninterested in it all together. The little that I do eat is so I dont die but is around 90 to 150 cal a day sometimes 200. Makes it easy to fast when you just dont care about food. I also really dont like the feeling of being full, so I keep that in mind too when I am low low restricting like that.

My body is use to the feeling of starving. I can go several days with 500 & under cals, & I feel ok. I still workout too.

Same I used to restrict down to 50-60 calories and I was still running 3 miles everyday. Eventually that crashed hard, but it was possible...

i replace food with vaping buts me off food and keeps me distracted and lots of gaming + studying sessions

lol, i know i can eat way more than i do and still lose weight.

But my ED is a smart bitch that knows better 

 

Also i WILL lose way more weight eating 200cals a day than eating 1000 cals a day, each persons body is different. Im sure we would all eat a bit more if we could do so while still losing the same amount of weight. 

I guess you are just different. Also the weight is a plus, not the whole trophy. I can eat a salad but if i have more than i feel necessary then i feel like a failure, thats why i keep it as little as possible

My body just got used to it, it's the AN and fear of eating, simply not "allowing" food until it's "time" & Extreme anxiety if I eat when I should be fasting.

Eg I'm trying to get to my ugw and been on a fasting regimen, 5 day a wk fast, weekend eat no more than 1,150 ISH calories since before Christmas. Once I've made that rule in my head that's it, no question must be done. I allow eating more on birthdays and Christmas.

If I eff up I feel so much self hatred and regret it's just not worth it & unthinkable.
CW 80lbs bmi 16.2 gw 78lbs
