Hi

 

Maybe this is a dumb question...So I've been fasting now for 44 hours but I've had 3 cups of broth yesterday and 1 cup today. Would you think this would effect my progress? I'm drinking swanson boxed broth, low sodium.

It's low sodium so the answer is not much. If that is all you are consuming then you are definitly in a calorie deficit. You would most certainly drop weight over time but it maybe harder to lose water weight. However, if you are drinking water then it should not effect it at all. If you are properly hydrated then your body is better prepared to deal with sodium and less likely to hold onto water weight.

broth is amazing! whenever i fast, it's what i eat to end it.  :wub:
