I'd like to say for successfully two days Ive been on a "Tea cleanse" and only drinking tea!

Im pretty hungry, so tomorrow Im going to allow myself a cucumber salad because its mainly water anyways.... but other than that I'm sticking to tea!

does anyone else do this cleanse? is it just me and my obsession with tea?

I actually do this ALL the time...I  feel like the warmth of the tea makes me feel so much less hunger than I would without it, and its so much easier than a straight up fast.

And its so good because tea has almost no calories in it.

Tea is so good! I'm late to this but wanted to let you know about this brand called Ahmad Tea which have a range of 'dessert teas' and they're the best thing for sweet cravings! My favourite is strawberry velvet cake or pear and cinnamon strudel. The flavour of dessert with 0 calories

What's the most days you've done? Also is there a particular kind of tea you find helps, or that you? I always found peppermint tea helps curb hunger for me, but I'd love to try something new!

Also lipton ice tea light has like no calories / is the same as diet sodas. V recommend if you need something on the pinch or feel like a change!

I have done a green tea cleanse and I was happy with the results, but be aware that too much of it can make you sick-if I remember correctly I did it for a few days and then threw up a bunch of green tea (not on purpose)

I wish I remembered! I was using it to detox from unhealthy food. I don't think it makes you lose more weight than water itself, but it is a good distraction when avoiding food and supposedly has a lot of antioxidants and whatnot.

When I'm fasting that is all i have - water and tea. I'm currently end of day 2 fasting and I'm drinking dandelion root tea as this apparently cleanses the liver making for more efficient fat loss 🤞.
The longest I've fasted for before is 5 days and just had normal tea, but I've already lost 3-4lbs in 2 days this time so maybe the dandelion root is helping?

Whenever I fast I drink a lot of tea to counteract how cold I get. My favourites are cinnamon, vanilla chai, ginger green tea, peppermint, detox blend or nettle and fennel. I recently got a cherry bakewell flavour green tea, and I love gingerbread black tea from Tetly. I used to never tame caffeine so back then rooibos was a good su substitute but haven't had it in a while.

I lose the same as I would on plain water.

This is a super late reply but I stumbled upon this thread bc I just impulse bought 72 teabags lol. Dandelion is a natural diuretic which is why it helps with cleansing and water weight loss!

I'm super into the OMAD diet right now (only eating dinner and fasting during the day) and tea helps me so much! So good for you too.

I’m know I’m late af but did you guys experience any nausea? I don’t have much of a problem feeling hungry, but my main issue with fasting is that towards the evening of the first day or the morning of the second I have this unbearable nausea and vertigo.

I always found warm tea helps with nausea but everyone is different. I know some people can drink plain hot water but that would make me feel sick.
Ginger tea is the best for the nausea, though I found some stomach settling blends with spices from Yogi Tea and sometimes bitter like green tea w lemon helps me.

I can only tea cleanse for 32 hours or else I lose my mind. I can only go longer if I had binged the day before :/ I have somewhere around 100 bags of tea which makes me think I should give tea cleansing another go ...

Going to do a tea/coffee fast today. Woke up starving so had a coffee with splash of milk. Now having tea. Hoping to do it again tomorrow in order to lose 2.2lbs and put me out of obese bmi (so embarrassing to admit that!)
