I smoke daily all day it helps by keeping my hunger at bay

I'm replacing alcohol with weed because I can't handle hangovers anymore. We'll see what it does to my appetite.

Oh yeah. If you get the munchies, consider cbd flower. You get the strain effects, but no stone. Over time it slashed my appetite. It took about 5 days for me to notice. Plus, you can buy it online.

4 days in, how's it going for you?

I lost all the water weight I'd gained and am back to the progress point where I was before the binge drinking and eating began a few weeks ago. Omad helps a lot and the munchies haven't been unmanageable. So much more preferable to how I was feeling before.

I'd consider myself a heeaaavy smoker. I chief through almost 3oz a month by myself at this point, and when I have it, you can bet that I'm high at any point in the day. It's relaxing and takes the edge off my anxiety that my meds don't. I feel like the best version of me while smoking! Too bad it's too expensive to fund while I'm not working, I can't afford $250+/mo with no damn job. Has anyone else conditioned themselves to only eat when they're high so when they're dry they can't eat?? I'm going through this right now.  

 

I already scraped the shit out of every piece I own and my grinders yesterday so the struggle is officially real. These are the unprecedented and difficult times. Someone smoke one for me. 

 

smoking is a miracle worker if you use it with intention. I used smoke a lot more heavily than I do now and I relied on being high before I ate and couldn't eat if I wasnt high: that was the intention I had in my head.

 

a big help is what I do now which is >I eat my designated meal whenever it is (for example a 300 calorie dinner) and only allow myself to smoke after ive finished my meal. so my intention to smoke now is to kill desire for more food.

 

when im high I find it a lot harder to eat now becasue 1.anxiety around food is higher and 2.eating sobers me up, which means I smoke more, and i feel its a waste of weed.

 

so now I try to only smoke when I don't intend to eat and it stops me wanting to eat.

 

so now I overall smoke a lot less, and it is a lot cheaper than when I used it to feel hungry, cause now I use it to feel satisfied.

i still will eat while i'm high on occasion, but only the meal i planned and even then it's rare because like you said, waste of weed. now i use weed to distract myself from being hungry, and just to enjoy the feeling. it's so much nicer, and i've noticed i'm less anxious overall. i guess eating while high worried me more than i thought!

Literally impossible for me to loose if I'm back on weed. Can't resist munchies.

 

First moments (months or sometimes even years )  of recovery for me are usually just me smoking lots of weed... then it's easy to eat.

We got actual medical grade weed now that it’s legal here. It was hella expensive but so worth it, all my body pain goes away, my brain chills the fuck out and I don’t get the munchies

Yep! I like to every few days or so. Sometimes I go for months without it but I have smoked on and off for 13 years or so

lately i've been smoking every day, before and after my only meal of the day. i find it soothes my food-related anxiety and makes me eat slower. i also always make sure to plan my food in advance and stay away from the kitchen to prevent overeating :)

i haven't done edibles in so long purely because unwanted calories. but man i hate how easily convinced i am to eat when i'm high. doesn't make me hungry, just crave food. probably would be easier if i got high alone but i only smoke when someone else is around

havent gotten high in a while, man i miss it. i always had skinny pop and chocolate rice cakes ready. new semester starting in like 2 days tho so i get to go back to where all the medical is at :)

Yes! I absolutely LOVE weed and I dont see myself stopping ever. It used to cause me to binge uncontrollably but fasting helped me gain control again. Now it keeps me distracted and helps with my depression and anxiety.

Replaced alcohol with weed which is honestly the best for me right now, even if I have to deal with the munchies. I'm more of a weekend smoker tho.
