Sounds weird but i'm so confused right now thinking of restricting and get the '' underweight body'' and on the other hand I' m scared of cutting my calorie intake and lost all the muscles that i've achieve. Am I the only one who feel this shit?

I'm going to give my gym's bodytracker another go, and see if I am going the right way with my high restriction and training: if I am losing fat and retaining muscle. Not sure how trustworthy that thing is though....

God I thought I was so stupid for thinking this way! I want to hit my GW (100lbs) but I also want abs and a booty, so I joined a gym started lifting. My cal intake varies, but I max out at the most I’ve seen 1,000. I still struggle with the urge to restrict, I know I shouldn’t, but I just can’t seem to stay away

I'm a personal trainer. I restrict and to keep muscle just make sure you work the muscle groups you want to keep. This cues your muscles into growth mode and therefore you wont lose muscle!

I have this too, thought I was the only one. On one hand I feel like eating less than 1000kcal a day but on the other hand I want to eat more to gain muscle. Whatever I do, it never feels right... :(

I keep telling myself after I get to my UGW I'll lean bulk up to BMI 20.5 and then cut back down to 18.5 and maintain

This. Is. ME. I love weight lifting. BUT... I often have to force myself to eat my post workout meal and enough to hit my macros for the day. I’m usually around 1000-1200 calories unless I get triggered

And I’m definitely not building as much muscle as I want. But I’m trying this body recomposition thing, because I REFUSE to eat above maintenance. I’m too scared to bulk/cut. I would rather maingain. Maybe in a few months I’m where I want

the other day i was simultaneously thrilled that an old pair of (expensive) leggings from a lower weight fit me and furious that my ass doesn't fill them out anymore.  i've been focusing on running more than weights because i have an injury that heavy lifting seems to aggravate a lot but i think it might be weighted squats time once again.
