how do you do it? my plan was also to limit binging to the weekends, but it doesnt seem to work. and i cant always keep busy enough myself to not think about it daaaaamnnn
I was eating 1,200 calories a day along with going to the gym or burning 300 calories doing cardio. My BMR is 1,300 something, so I was definitely expending more calories than I was taking in. I also was binging more than I am now, after I upped my calories to 1,500. I think this is so much more sustainable. It seems like so many calories to eat every day, but it was working better so I'm gonna keep doing it.
Honestly, my impulse control is so shit that I shelled out $55 on a kitchen safe on amazon. I can lock up my snacks so I won't binge on those at least. I buy Little Debbie snacks or cookies to put in my lunch at work so that I have something sweet every day, but that's where my binges would start. Literally 3 boxes later on Saturday, and I'd have nothing to put in my lunch.
I definitely have two separate diet plans. During the week I eat differently than on the weekends. Keeping those separate (mentally) seems to help a little. I just really need the weekends to let loose and enjoy food a little bit.
