I want to start running more and I’m decided I would start this thread to hold myself accountable! Feel free to join me!! Doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced runner or just trying to start out! Add how much you ran, how fast, where at, how it felt, honestly whatever you want!! :)

Ran 7.04 miles on the treadmill in an hour. It was the farthest I’ve ran in a few weeks so I’m kinda proud of myself.

Ran 11.10 miles outdoors in 1 hr 39 mins. It was soo beautiful out so I decided to get a long run in before it’s too cold too. Already have like 6 blisters from running so much lol

Wow congrats on the long run! It is beautiful iv run 12 miles so far this week sunday to today I really want to get an hour run in but its likely to only be about 5miles which isnt great. Ill let you know how it goes ;). Way to go again.

That’s great though!! It’s taken me years to get up to running this much and this far. What stats do you mean? Weight and all?

Yea Im an avid runner I ran 16 races in 2016 totaling in around 170+ miles in races alone. Maybe ran 250miles that year. I have had kidney stones so i havent ran in a long time due to pain im excited and proud iv ran so much this week hope i can increase soon !

That’s awesome!! I got my scale taken away recently so I don’t know exactly how much I weigh currently but I would guess around 117-120 at 5’4’’ I can only take my measurements right now which are bust: 32 waist: 23 in hips: 30 thighs: 20 in (ugh) arms: 9 in calves: 12 in

Your at around my goal wieght since running i havnt lost anything which im kinda shocked about I think it must just be due to muscle growth in exchange for fat loss so it looks even but really im getting leaner ?... i hope, this is what im telling myself anyway. Once i increase distance and do 6 or more miles regularly i will see more wieght loss.

Yeah that def could be the case! I’ve been working out a lot and lifting so I’m definitely a leaner 117-120 then I have been in the past because I have more muscle I think. But I didn’t run today :/ my legs were pretty sore from yesterday so I just did some light cardio on the arc trainer at the gym

I used to restrict like that! But I’ve found high restricting + exercise is more manageable for me. I reallllllyyy need to get me eating on track though and lower my cal intake. How do you manage to keep yours so low?
