I've been lurking due to lack of time, but I've been running sporadically, mostly short bursts to volleyball or in the middle of walks. Ran 2.2 km / 1.37 mi in 10 minutes for a 4:32/km or 7:18/mile pace yesterday!

6 x 400m of hard running on friday between 81~86 seconds per 400 (5:40~ mile pace i think) and then 7 miles of hard running on sunday, 7:50 pace! today was an easy 4.5

Apparently I run (=jog) 5 miles in 50 minutes every other day (I had to Google km to miles ratio, cries I european). Now I am on a 4 days work trip, let's pray to get back in shape ASAP!

i'd say just go slow!! once a runner, you're pretty much always a runner - just be kind to yourself and let it come back naturally. ease back into it, know that you're not gonna be back where you were immediately, but it's gonna come back. also mixing up paces and your routes always seems to help me - and sometimes i like to buy new running clothes because then i feel fancy :)

5 miles yesterday, 8:10 /mile pace

 

5 miles daily all week I just forget to post... ranging from 8:10, to 8:35 pace.
