But eating too much sugar and fats (chocolates) in the long run can lead to weight gain and eventually diabetes hehe.

I am somewhat curious though on the link between obesity and type 2 diabetes.
My mom and all of her siblings were / are either overweight or obese but none of them has had diabetes.
OTOH several other relatives of ours who suffer from type 2 diabetes are all naturally slim. They were slim before being diagnosed and maintained pretty much the same figure after.

Well, that's true.
I just knew that you won't get diabetes from eating sugar, so I quoted a post from Google lol (it was the first thing that appeared when I searched "does eating too much sugar cause diabetes".)
I don't know much about this topic though. But now you made me curious
