How many calories do you eat on average a day if you count calories at all? (I know a lot of people choose to simply focus on the nutrition side of meals and not the calorific) I'm just curious what sorta number a lot of people like to stick to :)

250-300 on weekdays and on most weekends 400-500.

I'm happiest when I eat under 1k, but I consider the day a win when I eat under 1.3k as my resting energy is 1.5k so even if I don't move at all, I'll still lose.

I try to aim for 1200-1800 because some days I’ll get my tdee up to ~2300 and I need to eat enough so I don’t binge later

I aim for 250 usually, but i sometimee like to spike my metabolism by going to 600kcal. Those days are terrifying.

I just set my Fitbit goal to lose 2 lbs a week and let it calculate how many calories I should eat based on how much I burn. It’s usually somewhere between 700 and 1200, depending on how active I am that day. Although lately I haven’t really been counting because my appetite has been so poor on Cymbalta+Wellbutrin that I don’t really need to. Most days I just eat a light breakfast (usually fruit or veggies, occasionally something with a bit more substance like oats or a few crackers with hummus) and a small dinner.

I like to try to get to 1200 each day but some days only manage 400 at this point. But the goal is 1200.

It changes depending on how successful I am. But never above maintenance (which I estimate to be around 1500). Usually about 900-1100, but have horrid weeks sometimes where it just plunges right down and I have no energy at all

1000-1500. Some days I eat up to 1800.

My TDEE is 2600.

typical sedentary day - 600-700 kcal

typical active day - 800-900 kcal

 

once in a while treat - 1200 kcal

special occasions - 1800 kcal

 

a day where there lies the opportunity for a 24hr fast and nobody will give me shit - 300 kcal (when i break the fast)

Up to 1200 on days I don't workout.

Try and still aim for about 1200 on workout days but I'm more flexible and can have up to 1400 if needed

I try to get between 900 and 1100. Sometimes I don't make it to 900 - like 700. I find if I go too low, it stops my weight loss. I used to do like 300 to 450 calories - I'm losing the same weight now on 900 as I did then. My hair fell out on 300 calories a day and I was super cranky and mean. Life is much better at 900 - 1000.

My TDEE is 1500ish when sedentary and I usually hover around 700-800, but for finals I've been winding up closer to 1000-1100. Still probably gonna fail tho lol

I have 900-1050/day.

Theoretically, my TDEE = 1946kcal/day, but in practice (from years of logging), I maintain at only 1100kcal/day. 

I would love to do 700-850/day + 45mins cycling, but it increases the risk of binges.
