Turning 25 next month.

I studied Media & Entertainment and wanted to get into script writing, but that didn't work out. Now I work as a webdeveloper.

I mostly work in the backend with PHP, though my main language is JavaScript. I just make tools and web software.

I'm 25 and I'm a IT Systems Specialist - basically a cross between network engineer, systems admin, software engineer and general fixing stuff 🤷‍♀️

Its alright, I like software engineering the most. The rest was interesting to begin with but I just find it boring and tedious now.

Wow you guys are so successful in your lives. I am 24 and I work as a bilingual special ed paraprofessional (teacher's aid) K-3 in the elementary school I went to. I graduated with a B.A. in communication from a Catholic university 2 years ago.

I hated my major and couldn't get a job, so I ended up taking this Associate's Degree paying job. I do love my job, though. I get to help little kids hands-on rather than constantly planning lessons/meetings/state test requirements, etc and I get pretty good benefits.

I am debating if getting a Master's is worth it at this point in my life with zero experience or if I should go and get my Associate's in Early Childhood Education to work as a preschool/daycare teacher.

I just turned 29 so almost gotta head over to the other forum :)

I studied law to postgraduate level but now, randomly, I'm working in sales at a tech startup! Would never have thought I'd be working in sales but I ended up really loving my job and my company.

I'm 28 and work at an invoicing department.

So I make and correct invoices, and help clients when their invoice raises questions.

Nothing for the past five years. I finished an associate's degree before I got IBD and had to have surgery for it. I think it's too late for me to have a career with my employment gap, so I'll probably just become a wagie and have to be really tight with money.

I'm 21 and mainly I'm a student.

I got licensed as an EMT when I was 18 & worked full time (while being a full time student) in ambulances, emergency departments, and even a psych hospital lol. But recently I decided to finally stop doing all that. It was extremely stressful (and traumatic at some points, as I'm sure you can imagine). My anxiety has gotten much worse and my ED has progressed so I'm weaker & genuinely cannot work long shifts. I had to take medical leave multiple times for hospitalizations & I when at work I would have panic attacks, hypoglycemia, pass out, etc. It was really spiraling & was becoming way too intense (and had been for years)

It makes me kinda sad and disappointed in myself, but at the same time I can acknowledge that not many 18 year olds are saving lives and it's okay to take the pressure and stress away for a little while.

Just got hired part time at a restaurant, we'll see how that goes!

I work as a volunteer at a national charity for disabled people. Specifically, my job involves giving advice, usually about benefits, and contacting local authorities and other organisations on behalf of my clients.
