Almost 28. I work as a part-time Library Assistant in a very small library. I basically get to do whatever I want all day long as only one person works at a time. I fucking love it! And there is a good chance I'm going to become the Library Director in a couple months when my boss leaves. I am so excited for that opportunity because a lot of changes need to be done around here to make the library a real part of the community. (And I'll get more hours and a pay raise - still not full time but I'm okay with that)

Currently I work as a case manager and in home therapist for individuals with Developmental disabilities. In a couple months I'll be a certified behavior analyst. I LOVE MY JOB! It can be sort of stressful and weird since I work with dangerous behaviors in people's homes but the kids are my light and the science aspects are fascinating. You have to have a degree for the therapist position and I just got my masters in behavior analysis.

I'm a laboratory animal technician, registered. (rLAT) I'm the lead tech for a medical University, taking care of all the animals involved in experiments, training coworkers and researchers, etc. I love my job.

I am mostly satisfied with how much I make. I'm at 37k a year and I don't have a college degree. I've only been in this field for two years. However, I was recently promoted and the raise was not large.

I have health insurance and a 401k and paid time off, so I love that. Overall, I'm very very grateful for my job.

Hey

I'm also starting nursing school this autumn (freaking out, but that aside..). I reaaaly want a job too. But someone's telling me it's impossible to have a job while studying nursing. Do you find it hard? How much do you work? Do you still have enough time for studying? Etc??
(sorry if I'm being annoying)

But in 2,5 weeks I start in a textile printing company, printing...well...textiles! I work there two days a week already and it is super fun, always on my feet and enough work to do! Cannot wait to work there full time.

Nice! I just quite a three year job at a screen print shop. Mostly t shirts, the occasional random custom job. I really enjoyed printing but the solvents are death in a bottle. Take care of yourself and take the ppe's seriously! lol

I'm 26 and I am in social work through a state agency. Kind of fell into this line of work bc my bachelor's was in political science.

I wanna get my masters in public administration so I can advance within my agency or another state agency.

"i belong deeply to myself"
