So I'm 17 and about 5'2.5" (159cm) and literally everyone pin-points me as looking around 15 years old.     I guess it's not too bad but I'm in the stage where people can't tell if I'm still a high schooler or a college kid.    Granted, I have a young looking face and I am not built like a "young adult", or so everyone says, and I'm not particularly tall.    I don't care too much though, I was just wondering about others.  :)

It's going to be so awkward when I'm 18 and nobody believes me

Anyone else?

I don't think anyone has ever told me I even look 16.

Well, if I have the key to eternal youth, I'll take it  :P

I'm 20, and I'm 4'11" and people think I look 16 <_<

Also my mother is about 4'10" and she's 49 and still gets asked for ID when buying alcohol

Honestly, the majority of people I know who are short wouldn't have passed for 18 when they hit that age, they'd get ID'd for everything. Me too, I'm 19 now and will still get ID'd 99% of the time. I used to hate looking young, but now I'm getting older I appreciate it more. It sort of runs in the family; my older sister is 36 and could easily pass for somebody in their early 20s. I'm hoping that happens to me, hah

That's normal where I live.  Really, I'd see men in there 70's or 80's buying a 6-pack of beer and they're asked for ID.

Which is kinda........ strange. O_o

My family are all young looking too.   I hope it sticks with me, but within reason.   I don't want to be 25 going on 15, haha! :P

Well in NZ there's a reccomendation that "If you look under 25, be prepared to show your ID". They don't ask anyone and everyone, it's the shop assistants job to judge the customers age :)

I usually have to show ID when I want to buy alcohol, even wine which you can buy at 16 here. Let's just say I'm more like twice that age... :D Not a short person either with 5'7.

I'm 24 and most people guess my age to be 18. My sister is 20 and people think she's the older one.

I'm 5'6" so height is not an issue, but I assume that being smaller for certain doesn't help.

I'm seventeen now and I probably look about my age now, though from age of thirteen, I always looked older than I am .-.

I tend not to mind when people say I look younger, but it's the comments where people say I am 'childlike' that really rattle me.   Argh! :P

I get away with telling charity people in street who want me to sign up to monthly payments that I'm only 17 and it works like a charm to get them to leave me alone. I'm 21.

I absolutely relate, I'm very nearly 21 but i have a babyface. one time I tried to bum a smoke of some dude on the bike path, he took one look at me , rolled his eyes and walked away shouting "you don't look a day past 14!" what an ass. :P

I am half way through my 25th year on Earth lol and I usually get mistaken for a 22 year old. No idea how cigarettes and alcohol have not aged me beyond repair. It must be my chubby bulimia cheeks that give me a youthful appearence.
