My boyfriend tends to buy excess food all the time- and then in my mind, I'm like... well, I can't let this food go to waste... food is money, I better eat it so I don't feel guilty...
Then afterwards it's a mixed feeling- happy that I ate the food and that I wasn't wasteful, but also sad as fuck because I wasn't hungry to begin with but ate it anyways and feel like lard. 🤰

I used to. I sometimes have this with my kids because if they do not finish it, I have the urge to eat it. But then I also ponder whether it is worth gaining weight over. So, depending on what it is, I either throw it away or save it for them to eat later.

My SO is very wasteful which pisses me off A) because I pay for everything leftover food can be a big temptation for me
My solution - try to salvage anything I can, put it in the freezer and re-present it as a different meal later on!

So today is going to be a mostly snack day so i can make them disappear.

The food isnt unhealthy, just high in calories (coconut chips, nuts, veggie chips/crips)
