Has anyone went on a diet while breastfeeding? Did it affect your milk supply? I already have a lower supply from being back to work so we do bottle and breast. I'm worried I will go back to bulimia if I don't start counting calories again. I don't want to feel selfish if I stop breastfeeding all together but my mental health isn't doing so well. 😥

I did stopped eating straight after giving birth and couldn't breastfeed at all so I dont recommended it :( maybe some light diet is ok but starving will finish your milk supply very fast.

Your body burns a lot of extra calories while breastfeeding and you can definitely compromise your supply if you restrict too much. You can cut calories a bit but I wouldn't go too low, and remember to drink lots and lots of water. Stay safe xx

I'm in the exact same boat. I've been purging for a while now actually. Feel free to message me for support.
