If you gain 2 lbs it doesn’t matter. Like really? Two lbs is like .2 BMI points for some of us and you can SEE .2 BMI

I mean... thats not really stupid. 2lbs doesnt matter to normal people, they have more to worry about than stressing over 2lbs. I envy that.

OMG the other day my dad was saying, "There is an eating disorder, where you hyperfocus on food and tell yourself, okay i can only eat 800 calories..."

He doesn't know about my ed, he was talking about what kind of food should be put in the pantry for "growing teenagers and kids". I thought it was funny because I've just recently found that just under 700 cals a day is my sweet spot, but i used to eat like 300 or less a day for two, three, or four days and then binge enormously lol. And he has. no. ideeeaaa...mwahaha

That diet meals like 'light and easy' etc will help them lose weight. I reckon this is the biggest con that so many fall for. It's low fat coz it's full of sugar... Sugar get stored as fat... Therefore, home cook instead of buying junk that is disguised as healthy.

My mom literally told my dietician that she thought 2 slices of pizza wasn't enough, and that a normal meal should be like 4. That's at least 800 cals.

my boyfriend's mom tried to "understand" my disorder once and made me veggies. but she cooked them in oil. so i didn't eat them. she wasnt offended but she tried to be like, "BUT I USED (SOME HEALTHY???) OIL SO IT'S HEALTHY SO IT SHOULDNT SCARE YOU"

MA'AM IT IS STILL LIKE 150 CAL PER TBSP I DON'T CARE

same woman in the car is like, "i eat oatmeal everyday! why aren't i losing weight!? i'm gaining!?" but then details her oatmeal to me, which it's like 50 cal of berries, 100 cal of sugar, 200 cal of oats, usually topped with 100 cal of apple. which IS healthy but she also eats like 1200 cal dinners and lunches... but she focuses so much on that HEALTHY!!!! bowl of oatmeal, like it's supposed to fix the rest of her diet.

my mom also believes cheese in inherently healthy 'cause idk calcium or something. then eats a block. complains about being fat and constipated... "it's just ONE block!!!"

That’s also assuming you’re eating a “normal sized” slice from a pizza chain.

I’ve met soooo many people who don’t understand “don’t drink your calories” or “cut back on the sauce” yet act like my occasional diet soda is unhealthy. Hello? I know how to drink water or at least carry around some crystal light in my bag instead of drinking my weight in sugar.

One cheese slice are generally between 300 and 450 so 2 slices means 600 to 900... soo she thinks 4 slices = 1200 to 1800 is a meal... and that doesn't even count for toppings you might add, adding an extra 100 to 200 per slice... so 1300 to 2000 at most for 4 of these things??? Kay..👌

- Juice calories don’t count

- Going vegan /vegetarian will make you skinny and insufficient in nutritions

- You must eat 3 meals a day

- keto-diet will kill you

- Water-fasting will kill you

- Believing drinking more coffee is the only way to stay awake

- Complaining about feeling drowsy after meals (mostly carbs) but refuse to try different diet styles
