Had my first jar of baby food this afternoon.  It was Bananas by Gerber.  It smelled like Spaghetti-os for some reason but the taste wasn't that bad.  The worst part is picturing babies getting it all over their face and looking all disgusting while they eat it.  The texture makes it pretty filling and with the taste being somewhat okay, this could work.  Get the fuck in on this and let's be pretty babies!

I am still thinking of doing this. What stage did you get and what? Just fruits or veggies or meals.

All aboard!

I'm on day 2.

I use Gerber 2nd Foods Nature Select. The packages are 3.5oz each. Of course my favorite flavor (bananas) has the most calories (80 cal).

The veggie ones I picked out have 35-45 calories. I do 2 veggie containers and 1 fruit container a day.

Green beans have to be the worst tasting and looking baby food ever. It tastes horrible and looks like poop to me. Reminds me why I quit my job at a daycare center. The disgusting baby eating image was way strongest when I was eating the green beans.

The other flavors range from "okay" to "really good."

This is a diet that's really easy on your stomach and I'd recommend it for people coming off of a fast.

I might extend the diet a day and end with King Ian on Tuesday since I had a binge over the weekend and this diet is working really well for me.

I have been eating these for about 2 months now, and I love them!  My fave is the pears, and the banannas and strawberries.  I buy the second stage and it has been working pretty good so far.

I had Very Berry Banana or something just now.  Looked like shit.  No, literally, I mean it look like diarrhea in a plastic cup.  Smelled like Spaghetti-os again.  Didn't taste that bad.  By the way, I didn't look for specific brands/stages, I just found the least expensive stuff and the 2cups/pack ones.  I did eat like half a serving of cashews tonight though because that's all that was left in a container that was sitting in my room.  I can't have cashews staring at me -- they are the absolute best food in the entire world.

I checked online yesterday at gerber and was able to see flavors, and check calories. So when I shop Friday I can pick up the 2 packs and try this out for a week. Though I think I will be eating more fruits then the veggies.

I'm on day 4.

When I weighed myself today I was 235. That's 6 pounds in 3 days. Keep in mind that I have a high weight to begin with so your mileage may vary.

I think they are filling. Different types offer different consistencies. Peaches taste fuzzy, bananas taste creamy, green beans are somewhat stringy.

I am going shopping tomorrow and picking some up. I thought I may start with a week and pretty much swap it in for lunch. Since most dinners are low cal with my soups ect. If that works I will swap out 2 meals. I don't eat breakfast so I don't worry about that. I figured I will go with Gerber since they have the 2 packs and not sure about veggies, might stick with fruits only lol.

I had a Lasagna one... it smelled like Spaghetti-os as usual... but it was okay when this one tasted like Spaghetti-os too.  Had one that sounded AWESOME -- something about Banana/Custard and whatnot.  Wasn't that great, but as I took a few spoonfuls, it ended up being okay.  Had a pears and apples one that was good. I found that "Beech Nut" is a good deal since it is the cheapest I found at Walmart and every type of baby food appears to smell like Spaghetti-os and taste roughly the same.  Look into that, bros.

I just picked some up and enjoying the applesauce right now. I did only fruits since I am very picky about veggies and the actual meal ones had pretty high calories. The ones I got range from 50 to 70 calories.

I went all the way down to 185 in just a few days.  I was mid-90s when I started, and I even neglected my workouts this past week.  I'm currently eating Wheat Thins and pizza just because I can, then it's baby food til I go home for Easter.

That's great! I am replacing just lunch for a week and eating my smaller dinner like always. I usually don't have breakfast so I don't need to worry about that. I did pick up a few extra just in case I need breakfast next week. Excited to see my results for the week, if they are good then I am going to add more the following week.

I've only been eating 1 or 2 a day.  Worked well, I'd say.

I am starting this tomorrow. Are you guys just running it for a week and then seeing how it goes from there or do you have a set time frame.

I am going shopping tomorrow and will be able to pull it off unnoticed until at least next tuesday.

It's the only food I'm buying.  It's saving me a lot of money since I was doing a ketogenic diet before that and living on bratwurst and steak which are expensive and it's working well.  The last time I went shopping for food, when I got all the baby food, I think I spent $11 and still have a lot leftover as opposed to spending $100 on steak and other meats and running out after a week.  I only eat one or two a day.  Like when cravings or hunger are really bothering me I'll just eat one and it's okay.  The consistency of the baby food is really filling (in my opinion, at least).
